“Except when temperatures are high. Went by this morning, about 10:45. Walked in to people waiting everywhere and told 10 - 15 minutes wait. Ok ..but looked around and counted 8 (EIGHT) empty, clean tables. Thought, ok, waiting for buffet to catch up, but no, only 1 person was in line there. They seated some, so we went to sit on bench area, and began to really sweat. When asked if AC wasn't working was told, "It's just the building, cause it's so hot outside". okay, we left. won't pay those prices, to be hot, no matter how good the food is. We'll go back maybe in the fall, winter, when "the building" is more bearable.“

Atmosphere was good not excellent! As intended by looking at it, being there. Set up didn't Hit the Mark. Waitress had to move us to another table because it was dirty not clean and then the table that we moved to was not clean. The second table as well had to be cleaned as stated and then it was left wet or damp should I say either way it should have not been that way. Now for a breakfast and/or strictly brunch establishment, back to the Italian thing, honestly one not knowing any better and I'm laughing at this but it's true, would say that it is "upscale". I'm going to tell you right now it is everything but "upscale". I would not dare think to try and categorize it as such! Lived in Germany for years been to Italy dozens of times. Way overpriced ridiculously I've had the same amount of food for half the price and it tasted a thousand times better for breakfast. Embarrassing to say for any Italian or about. Yes the waitress was Italian they were full-blown from across the pond, straight outta Italy. Glassware, coffee cups were even imported. This is North Texas We want breakfast not Italian let's try and feel miserably and turn it into cuisine breakfast in North Texas. It was not horrible, already been addressed here. This IS NOT an exaturation.“

“The food was good. The shining star was Mariah S. The woman is hands down the most fantastic bartender I have ever seen, known or heard of. It was like watching a dancer. Every move she made behind the bar had a purpose. She was welcoming and genuinely friendly, not just the shlock that bartenders are prone to put on while they're fishing for tips. Even if the food had been total crap, which it wasn't, the evening would have been 5 star, just to see someone who is incredible at her job, work.“

“We tried Dove Creek Cafe a few weeks ago, and it is home cooking. They have a scheduled special for each day of the week posted. I could eat there every day. We've been back twice in the past two weeks. The chicken salad is so fresh, and the fish is excellent. Construction kept us away for a while, but I'm happy I found this wonderful place.“

“Snooty Pig is a simple place serving traditional American dishes at their place along Country Club Road in Argyle. They have a good sized indoor seating area with tables spaced out nicely. You'll also find friendly and timely service along good portion size servings that seem to taste really good. Had breakfast here recently, ordered the pancake combo with eggs and bacon. Everything tasted exactly like it was supposed to taste, coffee was hot, good and refilled by our waitress regularly. Very pleased with this breakfast and would likely eat here on a fairly regular basis if I had a place like Snooty Pig Cafe back home.“

“While staying at the Marriott at 3300 Championship Pkwy, Fort Worth, Texas, October 31- November 1 2024 went had dinner at Jackdaw Restaurant. It was an absolutely great experience and the staff was wonderful. Toni took care of us and did a marvelous job, Toni is the very the best ever! What a wonderful person. One guy hung out in the back on the phone walking around touching all the things with his gloves on just before finally going to help in the kitchen without changing gloves. No ice available for drinks. Food wasn’t good and we barely ate it because the place is gross, bacon was burned. Nothing good about this place at all. One of my sons said he’s going home and going straight to the bathroom. 😣 Skip this place!“

Rattlesnake bites are the best appetizer, the chili is amazing (don't miss it!) The ribs are the entrée I **always** get, perhaps in a combo with something else. Free peanuts (yum), and of course, the best thing in the whole place is the rolls with the whipped honey butter when you dit down.

“Took my dad there for his first visit. Food was good and tasty however, his salmon was a bit overcooked and a lil dry bit he liked it nonetheless. Service was good and it was sweet to take a couple complimentary croissants home. They make for a sweetl delicious treat. Don't forget to tip your servers. Now, go get your grub on.“
