“I have eaten and shared my love of BBQ for years traveling the United States in my job, and living for a time in South Texas enjoying the outstanding Tex Mex cuisine of mesquite wood burning smoked brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, turkey, etc. JR's is a wonderful experience if you are looking for outstanding BBQ, family outing, very professional, friendly staff, with a wide selection of menu options that are simply delicious! I have tried the brisket, pulled pork, chicken, turkey, ribs, mac and cheese, other side dishes, and soups. I have never been disappointed. JR is one of the friendliest, generous, and community- oriented individuals you would ever meet. I have had the opportunity to see his operation from the fire pits in the back, kitchen, and have always been highly impressed with the cleanliness of his facility. That speaks volumes to the importance of not just quality taste, flavor blending of smoke wood meats, but to the importance of food safety. I would highly recommend stopping by and trying the food for yourself as the flavor of mesquite smoked meat is tantalizing to the taste buds, the atmosphere is very friendly/inviting, and the service the best! Suffice it to say that JR and his staff go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is memorable, and enjoyable! P.S. ask JR to let you see the fire pits in the back so you can see where the outstanding BBQ is made. JR is very approachable.“

“What a lovely restaurant! We stumbled upon Kassandra, and I think it is a well kept secret! The salsa is legit, food was full of flavor, and our server was on her second day of work and the kindest server we have had in a while. They offer all day menu and their quesadilla are a real meal. Tortillas are made in house and great!“

“Rusty Taco is one of our favorites for date night. Super friendly staff and great food. Plus you get a punch card for free tacos. The menu is wide so there is something for everyone. Breakfast to Philly steak to fish and everything in between. They also have the juiciest limes ever. There limes are the juiciest, but lately they have been a bit dry, it’s okay though things happen.“

“I do recommend JJ's the food is tasty but....I walked in on a friday after work around 3:30..I always sit at the bar I was shocked to see the whole bar area was dirty and the floor was sticky! I'm a regular at this location on Tarrant Parkway and have always enjoyed the food and the margaritas....I almost turned around and walked out so disappointed! oh, one other thing, when I order food I always have to ask for silverware! I myself have worked in the food industry years ago, I do know the dirty dishes should be picked up when customers are done eating, this helps to keep the area clean even if you are busy which in this case the bar wouldn't be full of dirty dishes and I'm not exaggerating...it was the whole bar area!“

“We stay at Radisson Fossil Creek often, front desk worker recommended. WOW..spot on!! We have eaten there twice. Chips Salsa -Excellent! I had pulled Pork Carnitas Enchiladas with Green sauce. It was SOOO good!! My husband had soft tacos with a pork cooked in a sauce didn’t get name. He couldn’t stop eating!! Clean plate!! Ppl are very nice. Space is small, service is quick. “Fajita steak shish ka bobs!!! Do I need to say more? The location I went only had 5 cars in the parking lot when I showed up. On a SATURDAY night.... had me slightly suspect... but I checked the reviews and it had 4 stars so I had to try it. I wanted something I hadn't had at other Mexican restaurants in my state, so I tried the Steak Shish ka bobs. Whew!!! They were REALLY REALLY good!!! Such a nice variation from the typical. I used to drive to Dallas (25 mins away) to get tacos and ever since trying this hidden gem I can’t tell you the last time I have been to Dallas for tacos. “This location is a taco truck, and they are clean inside, but they sit outside of a Valero station, which is not the best atmosphere. Yet the food was good and reasonable. You can even call in your orders. Referred by a friend. It did live up to their experience.“

I deal with Beba a lot since I come here at two to three times a week and she is so friendly and cares about everyones is taken care of including the staff wish speaks a lot to her character. The automoshere is relaxed and you never feel rushed or just like a number. If Beba sees you even look like you need something she is there asking how she can help. Great food and great service!“

“We came to the stockyards in Fort Worth, drove from Dallas and new to the area. We asked an employee from the stockyards and this place was recommended. Tacos are savory, good portion tacos, and they ain’t greedy with the salsa which is a plus. Will come back when we are around the area. Barbacoa tacos were my favorite.“
