“Asked my waiter if he could make me a traditional Mexican style margarita. meaning, Many Tex Mex Restaurants use WAY to much sweet & sour. A true Mexican style margarita is 1 oz Tequila, 1 oz Controy (orange liquor) and 1/2 oz of fresh lime and 1/2 oz of simple syrup. That paired with the El Pastor taco’s, Baracho beans is solid.”

“Juice Bar is amazing call ahead if you're in a hurry. i love the Blues Bowl and the Berry BLast bowls they are huge. i get my healthy snacks there that are dairy and gluten free AND taste great. so many nutritionals there and a knowledgeable friendly staff & the owners are amazing. prices for supplements are competitive too which the owners worked very hard to make happen. WIN!”

“I just found this place a couple days ago. The food is very good, cheap and they are very fast at getting it to you. The cashiers were nice and friendly and took their time explaining things to me because it was my first time at the restaurant. I believe there is an outside patio area, but everyone takes their food since it’s mostly breakfast served.”

“I have eaten at this restaurant a handful of times and the food is always delicious. Today we went and had the catfish and let me tell you it was fresh, hot and delicious! My sides were pinto beans and coleslaw. Both were fantastic! Our waitress was over the top friendly and kept coming back to check on us. I love this place and even though I have to drive an hour to get there from San Antonio, I will continue to do so.”

“Pizza night will never be the same. Fully customizable pizza options and you can order online for pick up whenever you need to. Pizzas are made to order and so fresh. Follow baking directions that are provided with each pizza and you'll be VERY pleased. Never picking up pre-baked pizzas again!”

Love the mix and match seating and furniture. They also have a frozen case of premade meals! Great for picking up quick dinner.”

We drove to Kerville, (25 miles out of our way), to try the Cafe. We have told several people about it. Guess what? They already loved the place. Are we the last to discover this heavenly restaurant? None of the people we mentioned the restaurant to live in Kerrville. They all drive a distance to eat there!”

“Don't let the building fool you. (I have rule for food establishments the older it looks the better it is). This place is unbelievable. Bark on the brisket and pulled pork was a perfect balance of seasoning, smoke and natural flavor of meat. I had the brisket, ribs and pulled pork (three meat plate) Brisket was moist and perfect balance of flavor, the ribs fell off the bone as I picked them up off the plate, and yet again perfect balance all the way through, the pulled pork was excellent and again balanced just right. The BBQ sauce was a perfect blend for pork or beef just added that extra level to all the meats. Now to the desserts!!!! The buttermilk pie was excellent not to sweet not to savory, the chocolate cake was like a true home made cake and the pecan pie was devine!!!!! Had to try all three with my family. Kerrville is lucky to have an establishment as good as this place. Well done 5 stars all the way around”

“They seated us in a dining room where there were no other people, so we thought it would be nice and quiet, but staff members apparently use that room to prep silverware supplies. Someone came in and turned the TV up loud, then proceeded to yell back and forth with other workers as they walked by on occasion. Not my favorite. The food was okay, service was okay.”

“Been wanting to try this for so long! Yum yum! We might make it a weekly thing! We used to go to Chipotle when we lived in San Antonio and were bummed there wasn't one here in Kerrville. We kept driving by when running errands, finally decided to try it, and so glad we did. The food is just as good as Chipotle and the servers are better, as they are focused on the customer instead of blasting loud music.”

“I order kids meals here all the time and they are ALWAYS FANTASTIC! However, today my burger fell apart. The meat was in three pieces slid right out of the burger. The fries barely had any fries in them and the Wisconsin cheese curd sauce was all coagulated like I’ve been sitting there for a long time. I always give this restaurant a five stars but today they only got a two star out of me.!”

I have been trying to find the best tacos in Kerrville and the one that some people said wasn't good, turned out to be the best one to me!
Great quality, taste, portions and preparation.
Authentic except for one type of taco and that's the carne guisada. It was more like a brisket taco and had no guisada (gravy). The Picadillo, beef fajita, bean and cheese and potato egg and cheese are my favorites 😋
My review is based upon multiple visits and after trying Mary's a few times as a comparison because of the local stories.
Final opinions are that Rita's has the most authentic tacos overall, taste the best and has far better service than many restaurants of any type in town!
Prices are on point for the generous portions and much better quality than any other tacos I have tried, from Ingram to Comfort and that's many.
I'm hungry just by doing this review!”

“I made a drive-thru order. It was faster than most DQs I've been to and fresh. I wanted to point out that I accidentally left before getting my card back. I just happened to be stopped at the light nearby when a DQ employee RAN up to me and handed my card to me. That is above and beyond in my opinion.”

“When I get the craving, this is where I go. My favorite is the stuffed potato with pulled pork.They are huge! Everything on it plus jalapenos is my go to item. All their sauces; regular, sweet, spicy are superb! There is absolutely no way to devour this in one sitting. Wish I would have taken an image of it to upload but once it's in your hands, you can only focus on biting into this gem. “Totally disappointed. We have been regulars and they change the chef . They don’t make any entrees with grilled shrimp and the pesto sauce. My etoufe was horrible and the boiled shrimp tasted like chemicals. Get back your old chef. Totally disaster. Service was better.”
