“Just stopped because I was really hungry, they served! Absolutely amazing flavored meat with the tacos. I ordered the Matamoros for me and my spouse. It came with some beans in a small container and baked potato filling. Their red salsa is good ?. And they have aguas frescas.“

“Delicious!! I can't explain how YUM the food is. I had the tacos and they were really great. The juice from the taco meat has such a great flavor and they give you that for dipping. Also we reheated it the next day and it was even better! I highly recommend their food. This will be a regular on mine and my moms list when we want tacos. You won't be disappointed!“

“Hoy fuimos a festejar el cumpleaños de mi hija a Las Calles de México. La comida estaba exquisita y la mesera Yadira fue una excelente anfitriona. Nos recibió muy amablemente y muy atenta. Lo más que nos sorprendió de ella es que tomó nuestra orden de memoria y éramos varias personas. Gracias Yadira y Las Calles de México por hacer este día tan especial. Pensamos regresar muy pronto ya que nos encanta la comida auténtica Mexicana. Está delicioso! 😋“

“Giving it a 4 star for getting served stale chips in the beginning. Salsas are great. Cafe de oila was delicious. Place bit pricey small area but the food and atmosphere is what you pay for. Would recommend would come back service was great.“

“When I lived in Austin back in the 90s, I would eat two of the gorditas before I would return. Now that I live here again, I visit this place at least once a month. If you are from McAllen and you don't know this place, you need to try the gorditas rellenas. They are all good.“

“La Fogata was recommended to us by a friend for my mother-in-laws birthday celebration and I’m so so glad we chose this place. Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really great food. A big thank you to our waiter Joe, for providing outstanding service throughout our entire meal. He was beyond attentive and really made our evening wonderful. Very impressed with this place and I definitely recommend 10/10.“

“The best tacos anywhere in south texas. Great breakfast and dinner. Try traditional breakfast. But if you want a real special treat try tacos tlaquepaque or tacos de vapor. Saw this on a TV special. “Tacos de canasta” . Which translates homemade tacos in a basket. You do t have to travel to a resort area for this just go to mission Texas.“
