“I ALMOST SUFFOCATED EATING THEIR POZOLE!!!! I almost swallowed a Heineken beer bottle cap. I spoke to the business owner Oscar, whom admitted they add beer to their pozole. But he said that they have insurance and that I could do whatever I wanted. In another words he didn't care that I couldn't have died. A bottle cap can tear up your intestinal track. The picture shows the bottle cap that I pulled out of my mouth before swallowing it. Oscar, Insurance will not help if you die. HE TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS NEGLIGENCE!“

If you haven’t tried Taco Loco, you’re seriously missing out! The Oasis Burrito is hands-down one of the best burritos I’ve ever had—perfectly packed, flavorful, and satisfying. But what really takes it to the next level is their green salsa… it’s fresh, tangy, and has just the right kick.
And let’s talk about the mini tacos—the Al Pastor and Asada are absolutely delicious. The Al Pastor is perfectly marinated with a touch of sweetness, while the Asada is tender and full of smoky flavor. Everything is cooked to perfection, and you can taste the care they put into their food.
Trust me, Taco Loco delivers big on flavor and quality. Don’t sleep on this spot!“

“Taqueria Jalisco is back and better than ever!
We’ve been coming to this location for about five years now, and it quickly became one of our all-time favorites. It was the perfect spot to bring out-of-town family, a cozy family-owned restaurant with some of the best Mexican food around.
But we have to be honest. By late 2023 into early 2024, something changed. The quality dropped, and our hearts sank. In February and March 2024, they were out of everything. One time they had no corn chips but made us flour chips instead, which were surprisingly amazing. The next visit there was no queso, no guacamole, and no chips at all. We had to leave and stopped going entirely. It truly felt like we lost a favorite spot.
Then everything changed.
In late 2024 or early 2025, we decided to give it another try and our jaws dropped. The vibe had completely transformed. It was busy, full of energy, and the staff were smiling again. The food is the best it has ever been. The atmosphere isn’t sad or dull anymore, it’s fun, welcoming, and alive. The night-shift cook deserves serious credit. The way he plates meals is incredible. Every dish looks like it came from a high-end restaurant.
Even with all the upgrades, the prices are unbeatable. You can really tell someone stepped in and gave this place the love and attention it needed.
We were so blown away we ate there two weeks in a row, every single weeknight. That’s how good it was. We are beyond happy that our favorite Mexican restaurant is back in action. Thank you for bringing it back to life.
PS. You need to try the flour chips. The chef nails them every time.“

“Third time coming here; they serve nothing but deliciousness at this restaurant with a great variety of plates ? from breakfast to lunch and dinner plates and great specials. I've had their Parrillada here before, delicious ?. Their barbacoa and huevos rancheros plate is very delicious, words can't explain how flavorful this dish is. “My husband and I passed by this restaurant several times. We lived in Hondo going on three years. We finally got a chance to stop in and eat breakfast. From the beginning of our entrance into the restaurant, we were greeted with kindness, respect, and we fell in love with the restaurant already. We were family in the eyes of our server and the staff. All smiled and actually gave us a feeling of being grateful that we were there. Not only is the service stellar, so was our food. I ordered the carne asada plate. It was delicious & outstanding. My husband ordered the three piece crispy tacos plate, it too was amazing & delicious. Not much to look at from the outside, but well worth stopping inside for a bite.“

“Fri, 06May22 I'm here from. St. Louis, MO, I'm here visiting my Mom for Mother's Day. We were out shopping and it was late. I didn't want my Mom to go home and cook. So "we" stopped at "Taqueria Arandas" , and ordered an Enchilada Plate, and 2 Lengua Plates. IT WAS ALL VERY D-E-L-I-C-I-O-US!!!!!!!!!! “I've been a regular customer and enjoy the friendly service and good prices. I always buy the all meat. It's not very grease and has a very good taste. Tamales are flavorful and good. The menudo is also very good.This is my favorite go to for Barbacoa, tamales, and Menudo. Fast and friendly.“

“Food was delicious. Service was slow. Servers are not attentive to customers. I ordered two Barbacoa tacos and it took 20 minutes to get them. When they came they were on flour tortillas but I ordered them on corn. I didn’t get silverware or napkins. I’d go back for round two and give them a second chance to prove they are better than the service I received.“
