“Can’t give a 5 star review due to no locks on the ladies room doors. Very uncomfortable not to feel like you can have privacy of any kind. I would change that immediately because the rest of the restaurant is classy and elegant with good food.“

“Wish I could have bumped up the atmosphere. Don't know why but time and place the lady working the bar, Hailey was or name I beleive, was funny, always smiling and flirty without being too much. Hope she got a tip for the silly pole dance. Keep it up ladies, that's why we love coming to yall.“

“This is a staple in our rotation both at work and home. Getting an incredibly made fish plate (like the salmon - perfection) for under $25 at dinner is unreal. Their staff are so well trained - I have never had a bad server. The atmosphere is nice, calm and whatever you eat the quality is amazing. My favorites are the Salmon (either option), their Hawaiian chicken, or the burger if you want to be full for 2 days. Love this spot!“

“The food is pretty good. I wouldn't say it's anything spectacular, but it's good. Now, sadly, they seem to have gotten rid of their Poboys, and that was my favorite. The salads are great, and they use delicious, high quality tomatoes.“

The meatballs are the app of choice. As for dinner I'd recommend the chicken parm. Also, their wedge salad is solid.We ordered a lot of food. All is good.“

“Visited this place from out of town with friends and ordered the smash burger, the honeymelon boba, the mango shake and shared the boneless chicken. Reasonably priced and food was tasty. Highly recommend the mango shake. Only drawback is that the dining hall isn't very big.“

“Older place but clean and organized. A wonderful smell of pancakes as you walk in. Seated right away in a half full dining room, eclectic crowd much usually means good food. Server was pleasant and timely. I ordered the cowboy omelet that comes with exceptional shredded hash brown, and your choice of toast. My wife had the short stack with a side of bacon and hash browns. Both meals were very good and a standard diner fare done very well. I was very impressed with the cook on the hash brown; crispy on the surface but soft on the inside. Most places overcook them but these were the star of the show. One item could be improved and that is the temperature of the milk. I ordered a glass of milk and it was just cool, almost room temp when it should be very cold. Overall, we will definitely come back here.“

“The food was amazing! It is true definition of farm to table. We had the 4 course meal with wine and wow! It is up to the chef on what is presented and we were not disappointed! The service was beautiful as well. Jennifer who was our lady was knowledgeable, fun, and great part of our experience! The ambience is perfect for a cozy, high end atmosphere. “Great service each time. Friendly, helping staff. I really enjoy the Mediterranean Chicken entree. Have tried the queso appetizer which tastes decent but not authentic Mexican. The Nashville hot chkn sandwich was really good the first time but the 2nd time it was not as spicy. The chicken Lettuce wrap looks beautiful so maybe try that one day. GREAT wine selection! The FreakShow is delicious. They have apple juice, Mexican coke bottles, etc. The desserts are wonderful. Delicious tuxedo cake! Omg and the garlic bread that comes with the pasta dishes is the best thing ever!Plenty of seating options.“

“My husband made reservations for my birthday but they had a difficult time finding it and didn't seem to expect our party of five. Once we were seated the service was excellent and the food/drinks were outstanding! The atmosphere was fun and not noisy - a definite plus! I'm looking forward to going back.“

“We've been to 940's a couple times now and have really enjoyed it. It gets busy so make reservations if you can. The atmosphere can be a little loud but that's to be expected in an open concept space. The servers were helpful and came by to check on us frequently. The food was good. We tried the shaved Brussels sprout salad with goat cheese and apples. The poutine and fries had a tasty sauce that was somewhere between an au jus and a gravy. The pimento cheese dip was ok. I love a good caprese salad so we definitely had to try the caprese skewers and they did not disappoint. Our favorite dish by far was the mushroom ravioli, it was so creamy and earthy. It paired well with our bottle of red wine. We will definitely be back!“

“The hamburger is $20. That's insane. Three forks charges the same, and the comparison is worlds apart. It's Lewisville, but their prices are Vegas level. The only day that makes sense is Wednesday when bottles are half off. Food is ok. Not exceptional. Service is hit or miss. 4.7 is completely inaccurate. We keep the restaurant on our rotation because we are within walking distance. We would go every two weeks if the pricing matched the quality of the food.“

“Food was wonderful and variety is great too for a taco place. Would give it 5 stars but the steak is very chewy, tough, dry.....I couldn't finish it. Everything else was wonderful. I had the brisket and the tikki chicken. Chimichuri steak and the 3 dip appetizer. Ranch water was wonderful and the staff was extremely nice and attentive.“

“I was invited to come to dinner here for a friend's birthday, and was excited to finally try Barley and Board. The restaurant itself is very adorable, and has plenty of opportunities to capture cute photos. Our group was well looked after, and our server continuously came in to check on us. At one point, the manager also came to check on how we were doing, and let us know if we were looking to do anything else they had a whiskey bar upstairs, and downstairs was a speakeasy Latin club! Our group found it to be very cool, and wished we could've went in to check them out but couldn't stay out late. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food, but I think we all loved our drinks more than anything. I ordered their chicken sandwich with only jalapeños and a side of potato chunks. The sandwich tasted great and I finished it entirely, but I was incredibly disappointed by the potato chunks. I don't enjoy eating potato chips with my sandwiches, so I asked if there was a French fry substitution available. Our server let me know they no longer make French fries, but they could provide me with plain potato chunks. I agreed to the substitution, but struggled eating some of them because they were baked for so long the skins were rock hard on some of the chunks. I had to scoop out soft portions of the potatoes which made a bit of a mess on my plate. I wish they could've been better as the substitution did result in a $4 up charge. I ordered a vodka smash for my cocktail, and it was incredibly delicious. It had some sweetness to it, and I loved the fruit the cocktail had. At the end of our meal, our server did ask my friend celebrating her birthday what dessert she'd like to enjoy, and gave her a complimentary new s'mores dessert the restaurant was offering. My friend shared with us, and we all found the dessert to be incredibly delicious. All in all, the experience was nice, but I do think this establishment would be better for some mimosas and light snacking with your friends on the square.“

“If I was only rating the cheesesteak it would get 5 stars! It was perfect, the bread was really good too. The service was great and fast. Why not 5 stars then? The fries were mediocre, the ranch was disappointing, and the ketchup seemed like it had been sitting in the container for way too long. Also, they had those bad tasting soda machine sodas instead of reliable Coke products + Dr. Pepper, and 3 of the 6 soda options weren’t working. I will definitely be going back, but will probably just stick to the cheesesteak itself without any add-ons.“

“Our visit to Vieux Carre was an amazing experience. Our server Patrick greeted us at the door and provided fantastic service throughout our entire experience and made sure all our concerns and needs were addressed. The live band was a nice surprise and really set good vibes in the restaurant. The food is hands down great quality, cooked to perfection, and seasoned well. The only suggestion would be having a free light appetizer such as bread while customers wait for their meals. Otherwise I would definitely recommend y’all to try this sweet hidden gem out!“

“I love this place . The service is great! I have always had very good food . My favorite is the migas with fruit salad. Pancakes are delicious. My husband enjoys the eggs with corn beef hash. I never wanted to eat that ,but I tried a bite of his , it was delicious! No kidding . Anyway we think it's a great place for breakfast or lunch . Go there we highly recommend it !!“

“Loooooooooooooove this place! This is definitely a Lewisville/Carrollton staple. This place is such a vibe every time I go and my #1 black owned spot in this area. I can count on having great drinks, their hot link (even though I mostly eat healthy) is to die for and the owner and the employees are so nice, always checking in. They got something with this one. DJ's, karaoke, and brunch are an experience whether you come alone or with a group of friends. If you come to this area, this is a must try.“

“I have driven by this place dozens of times since moving to Denton and finally stopped in today. It has a serious, "Denton Vibe." It would be a great place to grab a drink - with perfect appetizers after work. The fish and chips were cooked perfectly and offered a jalapeño tartar sauce for a nice Texas touch. I will be back.“

“We celebrated our daughter's birthday at Hannah's this year. We had the bisque, the charcuterie, a couple drinks, smoked salmon, a steak, Chicken Saltimbocca, and the crème brûlée. Our favorite was the smoked salmon platter that had giant capers on it. Our server was friendly and did not rush us at all while we took our time eating. The restaurant is dimly lit which makes the ambiance quite cozy and intimate. This is a great spot for a special meal or a date night.“

We definitely weren’t expecting it to be so big (that’s what she said) and ended up having to take unfinished portions home. The pancakes were good and fluffy.“

We made a reservation online and said it was for a special occasion celebration and yet nothing was addressed and the table they set us at for 6 adults was rather small and in the middle of the aisle getting knocked a couple of times. We even explained to the host who seated us and he just said ok and walked away. BUT the food and service were amazing and will still be coming back, we just hope next time our party will be better seated“
