The taco entrees were good but a bit pricey.

The quail taco was good and unique. I get that quail can be expensive for the amount of food you get.

I personally wasn’t a fan of the short rib/brussel sprout taco.

My wife’s taco bowl left something to be desired as far as portion and flavor. It was not bad, just not a $15+ plate of food.

I had the fried pickle pub burger and fries.
First - I have never had a burger that was so hot!
Second - how the hell is it so juicy that it’s dripping, and still piping hot?!

I got a pint of custard to go because I was so full I couldn’t breathe, but the burger was so good I couldn’t make myself stop eating it. Oreo Cheesecake custard is A+++.

“I wanted to tell you about one of your managers at the Live Oak, Texas location. Ms. Arnesia (or Amesia if I spelled it wrong). My family and I live about 20 miles from this location. You don't have many locations where I live, but the food quality to me is worth the drive. However, this time we ordered out of convivence. We ordered food via a food delivery app (DoorDash) and was devastated when we received EMPTY bags at our front door. Over a $100 food order and it was gone. I drove to this location with the bags in hand, and when I asked to speak to the Manger, I met Ms. Arnesia. She explained how I was the 3rd customer that had happened too that day and she had already reported the driver. She helped me to do the same. She was working deliveries and ensured us the orders were included and sealed. She was so sorry it had happened to me and my family. She asked us to not eat any of the remaining items for our safety. She reprocessed the entire order including the drinks and shakes. I'm sure being the third person with that issue that day during her shift, should have allowed for her to at the very least have some aggravation. She never spoke, displayed, or seem to have any negative reaction at all in correcting this situation. When I arrived, I was furious, and I left feeling so care for and appreciated and safe. After meeting Ms. Arnesia, I won't be going anywhere else for my American Burger meals if she is there. She has added to your quality and delicious food with her exceptional customer service. I can't thank her enough for saving our weekend and keeping us in good spirits after all that had happened. People make time to file complaints so easily but fail to praise the people who stand out and go above and beyond. I made time for Ms. Arnesia today. The lady that rung me up was so sweet and so kind, I think she had piercings on the side of her lips and braids. She was very engaging and personable. She made my long long long day at work feel like it just disappeared. I hope she gets recognition for this too.“

“We were a large group on a Thursday evening. I will say the food was a nice surprise. I had a specialty burger which I asked for well done ( it was) and for the fries to be crispy ( they were). I heard not a single individual with a negative word about their food. The place was lovely and clean.“

However, since the bag switchover from cup for the fries (which I can agree with the company's stance concerning), the "generous" portion of fries in the bag are not as generous, IMO, at least not in my area franchises.“

“I order a pick up when i was working and had my boyfriend go pick it up and bring it to me at work, he pick it up and brought it to me, My order was wrong wanted bacon but ended up with sausage i called and the manager made my day, she offered to deliver my bacon to me, or refund . Whipped in the first time for shake. Customer service was excellent! Quick and yummy.
Second time I got a kids meal and had to wait a bit. The drink was small but burger was good.

Mr. Lopez safely ministered to my needs and even gave me his personal phone charger so I could keep in contact with my family member who had to be left alone in the hospital emergency and was also admitted with a very serious illness. “I gave 3 stars for atmosphere because there were dozens teenage kids just blocking entrance/exit. A manager came to the window and told me to becareful and I appreciate that. Young kids hanging out isn't a issue its better than running the streets or doing something they shouldn't but it was extremely crowded to enter or exit.“

Temperatures are now at Record highs above 105 And Store 596 of a 1604 West in San Antonio hasn’t had AC since May and we’re only supplied with portable units. They should at least work in bearable work conditions. Please address this situation. Get it fixed“

“Maria was my cashier and she’s the one that helped me. I had my order within two minutes. Her customer service is on point. The food was amazing hot and fresh and we went for my son‘s first day of school so I just wanted to give her credit where credit is due. She is a five star employee.“

“I have been to this location many times over the years. The experience was almost always disappointing. It usually ended with me swearing off Burger King for 6 months. I recently read the new CEO was on a mission to fix quality so i decided to give it a try. I’m very pleased that my last 3 visits here over the past few weeks have been outstanding. It’s like a 1985 burger king with quality food again. Burgers looked like the picture they show in advertisements. Food was hot and orders have been perfect. I’m now telling everyone I know to give them a try again. Best fast food in town atm in my opinion.“
