“Well if anyone needs an excuse to go try a smash burger from The Boss Cheesesteak, this is it lol. Probably one of the best burgers in general that I’ve had in a really long time. I got a triple but ate it before I could get a good pic. It was massive, hot, fresh, cheesy and so filling. 5 stars all around. Tried their #1 cheesesteak yesterday and it also did not disappoint. Am I about to become very fat? Possibly. Is it worth it? Absolutely. Good job boss crew“

“Tried the Baked Penne with marinara sauce tonight and it was one of the best things I’ve eaten in the Austin area. The marinara tastes fresh, it was nice and chunky but cooked down well, sodium level was spot on without any sweetness to it, great garlic level - delicious without being overpowering. The pasta was cooked perfectly. Good mouth feel, not mealy, not too hard or soft, held up well to the fork and wasn’t overbaked. Perfect amount of mozzarella - they weren’t stingy with it and it was complimentary to the amount of pasta and sauce. The best thing about it is the large dollops of ricotta on top - it offers a beautiful creaminess against the acidity of the tomatoes that balances really well, and it was a pleasant surprise. I think there are a lot of Italian places around here that wouldn’t think of adding this to a dish, either because of the bottom line or just a lack of desire to update a classic. For the amount of pasta you get and the quality and flavor you get, I would pay twice as much as the current menu price at $6.99 - amazing value. Definitely putting this place on “The List.”“

“I ordered the Super Italian, and brother… I swear, that sandwich didn’t just feed me—it healed me. Soon as I took that first bite, I felt like I had dual citizenship. One in America, and one in whatever beautiful Italian grandmother’s kitchen this thing was crafted in. Meat stacked so high it looked like a deli counter had a baby. Pepperoni, salami, ham—more layers than my ex-wife’s emotional baggage, and every single one of ‘em tasted like redemption. The bread? Oh man, the bread was like a little crunchy cloud, baked by angels who’ve been carb-loading since the Renaissance. And the oil and vinegar drizzle? It ran down my hands like the tears of a Sicilian man watching the final scene of The Godfather. After that sandwich, I walked outside and hugged a tree. They load it with meat & it is full of flavor. Our regular is the Beef Eater & Reuben. Both are consistently good every visit. Got my birthday reward & chose the strawberry shortcake. WOW! It was loaded with sliced strawberries, 2 layers of pound cake & layers of house made whipped cream. Highly recommend. They have a convenient drive-thru & inside dining is very clean.
