“Still the best roasted chicken. The special is served with onions and corn tortillas. The special also has rice and beans with red or green sauce. If you want chips they will add one or two small bags. The green sauce is perfect on a taco or chips. Don't miss this chicken.“

“Oh I cannot say enough about this place. It was my first time there and from the beginning the cashier Gabriel was the sweetest young man. He welcomed me with a complimentary queso plus helped me know and understand what I was ordering. As I say at my table with my coworker he personally came to see if my food was out, which it hadn't at the time. He personally prepared and brought it to me. We ended our day with a friendly hug. Thank you Gabriel for your service to my coworker and myself. You made sure that we had everything we needed for the ride back to work. God bless you young man. “I love Costa Vida! Being from Idaho, I was afraid I would never be able to enjoy Costa Vida sweet pork once I moved to Texas. I’m so glad I found this location and it doesn’t disappoint. One meal is reasonably priced and well portioned. I personally love the salads because the cilantro ranch dressing is to die for. Make sure to grab some horchata and chips & guac while you’re at it. The employees were all very nice, quick to prepare our food, and very helpful with any questions. Can’t wait to come back whenever the craving hits!“

“the food is great but I don't understand why when we sit in the bar area they never bring napkins or water. A good server should always greet you with water prior to ordering anything. at the very least bring the water with the other drinks ordered and then when you bring chips and salsa also bring napkins. water and napkins is something people should never have to ask for at a restaurant“

We never eat out on a week day but my son and I were exhausted and I did not have it in me to cook today or to drive out of the area we live in during traffic hours. “The servers were very friendly. The menu has a very large selection of Tex-Mex cuisines. They do offer 2 salsa, but the red is what is brought to the table. Most of my group had the menudo and said it was very good. I had the tamales with salsa verde and cleaned the plate. Somewhat small diner, but they do have a covered outdoor seating area as well.“
