“This Whataburger is pretty decent considering that it's part of an HEB gas station too.

I'm not singing the high praises of this place but it's actually pretty good.

The people there are nice enough and have been very helpful in redeeming my points on my app too (they did a great job of helping me with that).

Don't be scared to stop in and buy whatafood here...it's the reason I'm doing a review.“

“At first I was upset. I had ordered four cheeseburgers and asked for them to be plain and got nuggets with BBQ sauce. When I actually got home to check the order the burgers had everything on them and a girl at the window had told us there was sauce at the bottom when there wasn't. Luckily when I called I was handled by Clarissa. She had great communication skills and apologized for my experience. She was able to handle my refund and was very professional. Will be coming back to this location as I can tell they have good leaders and know how to handle customers!“

“Today was the 3rd time I got the #13, it was different today, in a good way! The previous 2 times I ordered this, (#13) my husband got the #7 just the quesadilla, and I ordered the #13 meal, and we received the SAME quesadilla.... the chicken was the same and I didn't know if it was because 13 was a different meal deal with the taco, chips and cheese and drink, but it was because of the chicken. Today's quesadilla was different chicken and the grilled cheese was on top and everything was in the box.“

“I went into this subway and it was the most fresh sandwich I have ever had and Iv had many though my life. The place was amazingly clean. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and the manager went above and beyond to help me. I highly recommend you visit here it’s the best.“

“This last time I went I only ordered a Route 44 Cherry Limeade. Just one item. This place is very good about sending out items that are simple to make. This time though, I had to wait 5 minutes for my drink. It was barely 10 in the morning and there were only 2 cars at the drive thru and myself at the stall. When I called them to cancel my order because it had not been brought out to me. The person at the other end said the carhop was going out with my drink.I like this place because I don't have any problems with my service until now. But this won't stop me from going back and ordering again.“

“Went with a friend. I ordered the Five Dollar meal deal. Bacon cheeseburger, 4 piece nuggets, small fries and small drink. For five dollars and nine cents. It wasn't such a bad deal.
One negative was the meat patty. It seemed it was premade and over heated one too many times. Other than that, everything else was good. The fries were fresh. The chicken nuggets were good and the entire meal was filling.
The day I went their soda machine in the dining area was broken. But we were able to get any style of drink from the drive thru area. Next time I go I won't be ordering the Bacon cheeseburger. Only because I wasn't impressed with the good portions of bacon. The slices were on the thin side and the patty was over cooked on the edges.
Nuggets were good sized, seasoned well. They had a good taste to them. The fries were hot, lightly salted and fresh tasting.
I was pleased with the portions of my order and was very surprised how filling it was.
I did get more of my money's worth here.“

“Have only had their asada tacos and beans and they are really good! I like that the meat is really meat and not a bunch of fat! That they actually make the meat on the grill (real carne asada) gives it that little bit extra. The aguas frescas are excellent too!“

“I don't have one by my house. Every time I go to the Frio, I stop here. The manager is amazing, wish I caught her name. Staff is great. Restaurant is clean. Thought the fries used to be different. “Great Service ,Great ice cream Good service from young man with shoulder length black hair he said had we been helped and made the visit okay the 2 ladies in back could start with a hello and we will be with you in a minute but anyways There were 3 Hondo Sheriff vehicles outside and a long line in the drive thru so i told the family let's go inside and the 4 officers inside were the rudest country folks ive ever experienced A Hi how y'all doing would of been in order but dead stares like scary my family was all like what's wrong with them . I guess some officers don't have people skills . Nice place to get some road grub and dessert“
