“My husband and I visited the Katy location on Valentine's Day. At first, I was a little taken back by what the hostess and the manager/owner were wearing. Because it was supposed to be a nice steakhouse, I assumed they would've been dressed nicer rather than shorts and what looked like a Hawaiian shirt. However, the food and the service were phenomenal. The pecan butter was amazing. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. Our server was very attentive, funny and made us feel very taken care of. I highly recommend this place…”

I went on a Saturday night to celebrate a birthday, and the place was absolutely packed — you couldn’t fit one more person inside. Right away I thought, “If it’s this full, it must be good,” and I was right. Every single dish and every drink we ordered was super, super delicious. The food was incredibly fresh, and all the cocktails and beverages were amazing.

The service from Melanie was truly outstanding. She took care of us in every possible way and made the entire experience even better.

“After my son and his friends kept saying we needed to try this place my husband and I finally did last week and again tonight. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in Magnolia. Food is very good and homemade. Not fast food at all. We have tried the shrimp rolls which are amazing, orange chicken and the spring rolls. Flavor is exceptional and is presented well on the plate. Restaurant is very clean. Aaron and his wife Lei are very nice and attentive. Prices are good too. Glad we have another choice in Magnolia. Will be going again soon. Try it soon!”

They were very accommodating with my requests and the waiter, Alex, was great! Gaby checked on us to make sure all was well. Definitely recommend for a small or large gathering! “Was referred here since I was looking for a healthier alternative than ice cream for the kids. The atmosphere is great! Family friendly and affordable pricing! I got my kids their own but in all honesty with the portion size we received we could have shared. It was delicious and fruit toppings were very fresh as well! It's hard to find quality Vietnamese food, but this place was really good. Definitely worth a stop. There was only one lady working when we went though, so expect a little bit of a wait. Because the last time I was in tailgators it took an hour to be served after we ordered so they comp one meal l just saved tailgators the embarrassment!!Service is a joke!”

The spice levels are spot-on, and the flavor really stands out no matter which heat you choose. The fries were seasoned perfectly, and the sauce took everything up a notch. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and my order came out fast and fresh. You can tell they care about quality and consistency. Because this is a taco truck, we had a little trouble finding the right place, but it's a small covered area with the truck in the back. There's a giant sign pointing straight at it, but I didn't know what it was pointing at lolThe ladies running the truck were very friendly. We ordered pastor, fajita, chorizo and campechano tacos. They were great! We liked the al pastor and fajita the best, and the salsa Verde is soooo good. Careful with the red sauce if you don't like spicy, it's also very good but definitely on the hot side.The atmosphere is very laid back, no need to get dressed up. If you live in the area, or you just visiting and need a quick breakfast, I highly recommend this place.”

“Driving back to H-town, we stopped at Deacon Baldy’s to check out the BBQ truck we heard about. Boy am I glad we did. It was amazing. We tried the brisket, burnt ends and turkey. It’s hard to believe the turkey could be better than the burnt ends but I believe it was. I can’t believe how moist they were. Also great was the Mac and Cheese and even the iced tea. I’ll be back.
