“I had the tacos tonight and they were fantastic. Just a perfect blend of flavors. Savor your food if you’re eating here. I was hungry so I ate my first bite quickly and just as I was about to take my second bite I tasted a bit of a bite. So I took my next bite more slowly and my taste buds danced with all of the flavors. Perfect.“
“This is one of my favorite spots in Magnolia even if it is an outside venue with the only air conditioning being in the restrooms. They have the best beer around at very reasonable prices and we love coming for jukebox BINGO (offered on Friday & Sunday)! Free to play and you can earn vouchers for free drinks. Wonderful, friendly staff with a different food truck every time we visit. Kid and dog friendly. Highly recommend you stop by and check it out!“

One of the best things about Deacon Baldy’s is the crowd it attracts. You can tell a lot about a place by its patrons, and here, it’s all super chill, friendly people. I never once felt out of place—everyone seemed approachable and easygoing. Families were enjoying the atmosphere, kids were running around, and the overall vibe was refreshingly relaxed.
It’s easy to see why this spot is a go-to for so many people. Deacon Baldy’s has created a welcoming space that’s perfect for anyone looking to kick back and enjoy some great food, drinks, and company. Tremendous job, y’all—I’ll definitely be back!“

“Great variety of foods and atmosphere is fun and kid friendly! Bahn mi was yummy but just needed more filling. Sopes with chicken and Grilled Corn were the absolute best thing. Crepes were fresh and delicious, especially the Nutella and banana!!! Can't wait to come back for more when their fully open.“

“Absolutely loved this place! I met some friends here for lunch and it was perfect! I had a breakfast panini with fresh fruit. I would recommend! Everyone in the group was happy with their food choices also. On the way out I bought a Coconut cream pie and Chocolate cream pie. I can't wait to go back! Service was on point! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!“

“Very fun atmosphere, family friendly, yet pub style. Food was great, snack style with great pricing!! You have to try the corn dog bites, they are the best!! Can’t beat the games, pickleball, cornhole and song bingo. Overall an enjoyable experience.“

“Excellent staff and the food was amazing. I will definitely be back. A very fresh, tasty burger but grab a bunch of extra napkins because you will need them. It's that juicy. I got the regular fries and they are crinkle fries and that's my favorite so that was a nice surprise.“

“Driving back to H-town, we stopped at Deacon Baldy’s to check out the BBQ truck we heard about. Boy am I glad we did. It was amazing. We tried the brisket, burnt ends and turkey. It’s hard to believe the turkey could be better than the burnt ends but I believe it was. I can’t believe how moist they were. Also great was the Mac and Cheese and even the iced tea. I’ll be back. I’ve got my eyes on the ribs next. Well done BBQ Godfather.“
