“Don’t let this little restaurant fool you, this place is a diamond in the rough! it is a rare thing eat a meal and be thoroughly impressed by every single item. I had the chicken fried steak, cabbage, green beans, and cornbread. The cornbread had a hint of jalapeño flavor accompanied by a sweet taste that made me want more! the food was seasoned to perfection and to top it off their Keylime pie was to die for. ask for Deborah when you go in and tell her Daniel said hello!“

“Definitely get the double patty. The burgers aren’t huge but the price is fair. The fries are just okay and remind me of Jack in the box curly fries. The burger was cohesive with tender buns and true premium beef quality. They definitely create burgers for repeat customers. The Mexican vanilla shake tasted like horchata. This is a good thing.“

I actually enjoyed that you take a little trek to get to this spot because the longer drive is worth it. The service here is excellent, and the spot offers that deli-like ambiance. I have a feeling other BBQ items would also be great here, especially given the wonderful smell of meat you get while at the spot. “I went to French Quarter Grille yesterday for the first time, the food was great, the service was adaquate and the prices were moderate, while it's nice to have a Cajun restaurant in my neck of the woods (Northeast Austin) it's unfortunately not one of the best Cajun restaurants I've been to.“

“I LOVE the food and coffee... when I get it. Twice now, I have ordered the marshmallow treat and it didn't get to me. The first time, it was completely missing. Today, I got a cookie instead, which I can not eat :( Other than this, I have always had great food and service.Dietary restrictions: I love that I don't get charged extra to sub GF toast. So many places charge an extra dollar or more. I understand that GF is a more expensive, but it sucks when we get upcharged over a buck for one piece of bread. Thank you for thinking of us!“

“I miss the olden days of salad bar restaurants, Fresh Choice, and Sweet Tomatoes, which have all gone out of business. I'm glad 2N1 Salad Bar is a decent alternative. Their prices were reasonable, and portions were large. I paid $9.99 for a chicken Caesar salad with no croutons. They didn't skimp on protein either. I do, however, prefer the Caesar salad dressing at Whole Foods and Bartlett's.“

The location can be a bit of a trip (unless you live in north east Austin, as I do), the food isn't going to score a James Beard award, the bathroom smells (as noted in other reviews) can be off-putting, and the staff can frankly be inconsistent. That said - the space The Eagle has created for queers and kinksters is second to none...in Austin. If you're looking for the NY Eagle - go to New York, and if you're looking for a dark room - check out Berlin. Adjust your expectations to something like an "Eagle Lite," bring a good attitude, and commend this place for the incredible community they're promoting through great programming, community fundraisers, and a safe space.“

“Came in around 10pm on a Saturday.I have relatively high standards & a sensitive stomach when it comes to eating out, and Hurricane’s staff hit the ball right out of the park. Service was excellent, food was HOT, fresh, high-quality, and delicious. Highly recommend the garlic parm fries, any burger medium rare, steak & avocado tacos. Firecracker shrimp. Boss sauce.Frozen strawberry margs also phenomenal. New favorite without a doubt!“

“I couldn’t say anything about the food because I wasn’t there long. I kinda stopped in just to shoot some darts while I was waiting for my food to be picked up somewhere else. But the atmosphere was awesome had nice amount of dartboards and had digital screens to keep your own score. And they were the real dartboards not plastic stuff. Which I really like. And you could also smoke inside if you’re a smoker. So that was a plus for me. They have poker tables dominoes darts free Pool couldn’t really ask for a better bar for me. I will definitely be returning soon to stay a little longer and get to enjoy what they have to offer.“

“Walked in it was a bit messy kinda scary messy. It was only two people working there that day so the one guy he was on the grill he was cooking. He was doing his thing. The music was live. It was nice. I enjoyed all the music. The food was alright, my soda had an oil film so I changed to a TO GO cup, my hashbrowns were over fried a little hard, my waffle wasn’t fried crispy enough for my liking, and toast was not toasting enough. Overall, I will be back due to the music. Give it another chance maybe it was an off day. Also the waiter he was cool. They need a person everyday that enjoys keeping the restaurant clean. I say this at my place of employment all the time you need to have 1 day a month close down have a thorough cleaning and then another day of close down for all your employees to get proper training and in sanitation. Waffle House has been around forever so we need to always keep this historic place running smoothly and professionally, and I believe by changing a few things around will allow this company to stay in the rotation of moving forward into the future future also if you treat your employees correctly and fairly giving them the proper PAY Will always keep employees.Vegetarian options: I say get in touch with the corporate office to see about them changing some things on the menu that will be held friendly as well for those that like waffles so that way you can have the best of both worlds without feeling not includedDietary restrictions: It will be nice if they would incorporate impossible breakfast sausage for those that don’t eat meat. I am a person that is on the journey of no meat eating, but it is what it is. If you want a waffle, you will intake the things that is offered there you don’t have to eat meat.Wheelchair accessibility: To come in, you can go straight through the door maybe if they add one of those buttons for the door to open automatically that will also help the restroom had easy access way for you to go in and out to use the restroom“

“Have had lunch here with coworkers on nearly a weekly basis for years now. Almost always get their Italian beef as it's the closest in town I can find to the real thing in Chicago. Great hot peppers and douse it with juice. Staff is always friendly and food seems ready rather quickly even when they are packed.“

“Everything was going well. Until I left. Walking up to my car, to find out that it had been broken into. They have no surveillance cameras, so they were no help at all. Management didn't even come check on me when they were notified this happened. So I probably won't be going back for a while. I just wouldn't feel comfortable. If you do hide all your belongings so that this doesn't happen to you.“

“Rung in 2024 at a Silent Disco event here! My boyfriend and I had a lot of fun dancing, and playing all the games (billiard, ping pong, darts, shuffleboard, and cornhole) all for $15 an hour. The people and vibe were lively and the bartenders were attentive. We didn't order drinks but got complementary champagne to toast at midnight! Was a cool way to end 2023 and start off 24'. My partner and I look forward to coming back and trying the go karts outside.“

Beverages and meals came in a timely manner. A minor issue with what the kitchen served on one of our meals was quickly addressed. Management stepped forward to offer a complimentary salad while we waited, which we declined knowing the size of the meal. The proper meal was delivered and Miss Regina checked in to make sure all was fine. All was well. As I explained to the young lady as we were leaving, her job was to do what she was doing. Our job was to not give her grief. And if anybody should give her grief THAT was not her problem. We will return again in the next 4 to 6 weeks, as this is our favorite restaurant within a 12 mile radius. Great food. Great beverages. Great service.“

As I braved the two hour line to get my ham, I dodged many an eyeing customer on my ham. As I left the store I felt my life complete. I will have my Honey Baked Ham in this life or the next.“
