“What a pleasant surprise this place was! My sister and I have passed by it before, and decided to check it out for a Saturday lunch. The atmosphere and overall vibe is so fun, plus their brunch menu is amazing. We sat at the bar and Trevor was the absolute best to talk to! The upstairs gaming area is great for the kids, and the adults too. So glad we finally got to check out this place!“

“Kitchen service was super fast, they were faster than the waiter coming to make his introduction. We almost left. Waiter brought my food, then went to check on his other tables before bringing my wife's food. First two beers I tried to order they were out and he didn't know the bar menus, I had to spell the name of the beers to him. And he kept mumbling, speak up! He never checked on us, and we waited almost 10 minutes to get our bill. I wish I could provide his name, he was horrible.“

“Actual hotel experience was fine. Deeply appreciate having very early shuttles available. We took the 4:30 am shuttle - the fact that this was available at this time was the central reason we selected this hotel. Front desk staff was very helpful. Extremely difficult to make a reservation via phone (and had problems with on-line reservations. Required 4 phone calls and was quite frustrating. Person who answered the phone at this hotel when I called to clarify when the first shuttle ran was extremely ineffective. After she answered the question, I asked her to make a reservation. I had to give her relevant information (Name, credit number, email, 4 times - literally) She promised to send a confirming email. 3 hours later, no email. 2nd phone call to hotel - I was told I had to call another number. I did 3rd phone call was somehow routed to Canada. The person who answered explained that Canadians spell "Center" differently than Americans. (This is part of my email). This person informed me that there was no reservation - though the first person I talked with insisted that a reservation had been made. This person made a reservation and sent a confirming email. However, when I read confirming email, I was being charged $20 more than the previous person said I would be charged. So I made a 4th call . Was finally able to get price resolved. But 4 phone calls is ridiculous.“

They allowed us to pick the music on the Jukebox and genuinely took very good care of us. The food was great but the workers and the atmosphere is what made me want to leave a review!“

“We took our team here for our quarterly team building event for some bowling, drinks and food and it was great!! We had a few lanes in the party room, they brought food out and served drinks! Bartenders, hosts, servers, everyone was great! Thanks again“

“Affordable and yummy comfort food. The chicken strips and green beans I ordered tasted as close to homestyle as I've had in a while. My friends raved about their chicken pot pies. The portions were huge, so I was able to enjoy leftovers! Our server was also fast, friendly and accommodating.“

From a charcuterie display, bagel bar, pastas, proteins to the creamiest Mac and cheese you will ever eat, you cannot pick wrong from their menu. The staff at Hank’s are so kind and their drink selection is out of this world!“

“Y’all know that one song by Toby Keith (RIP) about loving this bar? Pretty sure he wrote it about Third Base in Round Rock, TX. It’s pretty much impossible not to love this bar. I’ve joked for a long time that it’s been my second office and my home away from home. It’s a place where I’ve partied, spent countless hours working, brought friends to from out of town, signed deals and contracts with clients, had lunches and dinners, conducted interviews, and made multiple friends over the course of nearly a decade as a patron. There’s not a single bad item on the menu. Their chicken wings are otherworldly. There’s rarely a dull moment. There’s never been a single staff member that made me feel unwelcome. However, there’s one staff member in particular that kept me coming back multiple days per week over the years. Samantha. I’ve given her many nicknames since I met her back in 2019. I like to call her “Sam and Cheese” because she’s always smiling and cheesing behind the bar. Sometimes I call her “Samsung” when she’s really on it and delivering her usual speedy “5G” service. But my personal favorite (and she probably doesn’t even understand the reference herself) is “Samwise Gamgee”… because she is the true hero of the story of Third Base. 😂. I moved to the Dallas/DFW area a couple years ago, and she was amongst the most difficult people in my life to say goodbye to. I sent her a text message longer than this review telling her how grateful I am for her years of friendship, unlicensed therapy sessions, strong drinks, and unwavering service from the other side of the bar. It’s tough to find a bartender like Sam these days and although I’ve searched up here in the areas around my new home, I’ve realized I’ll never find a replacement for Samantha or Third Base. Which is why I make it a point to still come back and visit every month or two. Couldn’t recommend Third Base more to anyone who hasn’t been. And if you want your experience to be a real “Sam Dunk”, visit them between 11AM-5PM during the week, I promise you won’t regret it.“

“My bf ordered the angus bacon cheese burger and he really enjoyed the meal. The burger is small but it filled him up. I ordered breakfast for dinner. I got 2 over easy eggs with hash browns and bacon, my eggs were cooked to perfection.“

“I have a weird affinity for hotel breakfast. The buffet here is a decent spread of super fresh fruits and berries, oatmeal and toppings, yogurts, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Items are refreshed frequently. There is also a breakfast menu with plates and a la carte items as well. Wait staff were attentive without being obtrusive. We did have a small lurch -- ordered a la carte turkey sausage, but it wasn't available (at 9am). Small matter -- we asked if we could have a plate of the pork sausage from the buffet for the a la carte price (the recipient hadn't ordered the buffet). The coffee was hot and plentiful, with the carafe left at the table as the good Lord intended. If you order juice, they leave the decanter at the table as well. Quiet, pleasant ambience allows a good conversation without having to shout or strain to hear and a humane start to the day.“
