“Danny, our server, was the absolute best! He checked on us frequently and took care of us very well. He was fun to be around. The food was good, but not perfect. The clam chowder was not hot. The crab boil was probably overcooked since the crab did not come out easily. There was also 1 cluster that was old (like skin was soft and meat tasted off). They gave us a taste of one of their appetizers which smelled amazing. The rest of the food was good and plenty.“

“Ordered the chicken fried steak from Uber Eats and it was not good at all.. wasn't fresh, more breaded with less meat and the part that had meat it was chewy.. will not be ordering that again.. fried okra was ok needed a little salt, corn casserole-not good, had burnt taste, fried zucchini squash was ok just needed a little seasoning. Overall, I wasn't satisfied.. my favorite go to meal from here is chicken and waffles 🧇 and that's what I will stick with and that's the only reason I gave the food 4 stars.“

“I was here for lunch on Sunday 02-16-2025. It wasn't very busy, so I was seated right away. I didn't appreciate my location near the entrance to the restrooms, since there were no odors, I didn't make a fuss. My waiter Issack was very courteous and helpful. The restaurant section that I sat in appeared clean. I ordered a house salad with white vinegarett dressing. The wild west shrimp, and a house margarita. Of course I was served warm bread and butter. Everything was good, the food, service etc.

“My new favorite hole in the wall local Mexican Restaurant. I’ve always had a torta quest sine my neighborhood restaurant closed 15 years ago. This place has fresh homemade food. I ordered a torta and to my surprise it was really good! And it came with some homemade red and green salsa. It was on point. And to wash it all down, they have fresh watermelon aqua. That drink was so refreshing. I will most definitely be returning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will stop in to try their breakfast. So excited!!“

“All the sides were great. Nice owners. Sausage was cut a little thin for my liking but flavor good, ribs a little boney and not much meat. I asked for lean brisket but this fell on deaf ears. Stuffed baked potatoes was awesome. I would return but express my preferences stronger. This place should succeed long term and moving a few blocks over to 521 would most likely ensure that.“

“Love going to Busy Bee. We went this last Saturday as we do every Saturday. Savannah was our server and she was kind and did a great job. Christina usually is our server and she is great, but she was not working that day and Savannah did a great job serving us. “We came late afternoon on a Saturday so it was pretty quiet. We were seated immediately, our server Devon was great! Appetizers came out quick and everything was delicious. The onion rings are YUMMY and the portion was huge! We didn’t order any wings, but all of our entrees were really good. The margarita shrimp tacos are highly recommended with the bacon cheddar burger coming in a close second. Beer was cold, tea was sweet and we will definitely be back!“

Had a very delicious taste and I believe we now found a great hidden place that me and my girl can enjoy. Highly recommend this place. Just order a burger, instead of a po-boy because my girl's Philly Chessesteak was a lil small. But had a great taste. But seriously order one of their Burgers.“

“My wife was craving pupusas but I was craving pollo asado so we ordered both.The pupusas were big and stuffed with cheese. The curtido had the perfect “pickled” taste. The salsa was tasty with a kick!The pollo asado plate fed us both and we had enough left over for a second round each. The pollo asado was very flavorful and the smoked sausages were a nice surprise. The rice was good and the charro beans were delicious. They had a good amount of sausage and bacon in them.“

“EVERYTHING is fantastic here! My parents were married in 1963 in Freeport. They honeymooned in Galveston. They drove through Alvin and stopped at Dairyland on the way. Since they were teenagers they drank Cherry Dr Pepper and they said Dairyland has 1 of the best! We moved to Alvin in 1977. I have been going to Dairyland and eating and hanging out for the last 45 yrs!! I have had everything on the menu and it’s all good! There is not a teenager from Alvin that hasn’t eaten and hung out here since 1960!!“
