“My husband and I were working in the area and decided to stop in for a quick breakfast. The girl taking our order was extremely friendly and enthusiastic about taking care of us and the gentleman who brought our order out was courteous and made sure we had everything we needed before we left with our to-go order. It only took a few minutes for them to prepare our tacos and burritos and they were delicious!! We really didn’t need the salsa to go with it because they weren’t dry and had a great flavor, but the red sauce was more like a homemade salsa than a regular red taco sauce so it was hard to resist putting it on my tacos. Overall, we were highly impressed with everything here and will definitely be returning when we’re in the area again!“

“Only five minutes from my home. My wife and I have made this our #1 Seafood RESTURANT. The Service, food & prices are super. I have fell in love with the "BBQ Salmon-Garlic Potato Salad-Watermelon Salad.. OMG, The Bomb!!! My wife is hooked on the Seafood Gumbo & the largest Shrimp Cocktail in the world!! Yes you heard it right!!! You better get there soon!!“

“The food was great. I'm not super sure why the service was so slow, but it took almost 30 mins for our dinner to come out. It wasn't busy either. Maybe they were just out a chef or something, but refills on drinks and such also took a while. The adults think the food was worth the wait, but the kids definitely don't want to go back.“

“The burger is not bad but not the best I have eaten in Texas. As usual, you have ample parking. 5 adults spent around $66. A good option for a change. Very helpful staff and friendly. Luckily they have a vegetarian option as one in our group was a Vege.“

“Love going to Busy Bee. We went this last Saturday as we do every Saturday. Savannah was our server and she was kind and did a great job. Christina usually is our server and she is great, but she was not working that day and Savannah did a great job serving us. We like all the servers there and we go there a lot and feel like we are with family. Always enjoy the food and company.“

“EVERYTHING is fantastic here! My parents were married in 1963 in Freeport. They honeymooned in Galveston. They drove through Alvin and stopped at Dairyland on the way. Since they were teenagers they drank Cherry Dr Pepper and they said Dairyland has 1 of the best! We moved to Alvin in 1977. I have been going to Dairyland and eating and hanging out for the last 45 yrs!! I have had everything on the menu and it’s all good! There is not a teenager from Alvin that hasn’t eaten and hung out here since 1960!!“

“All the sides were great. Nice owners. Sausage was cut a little thin for my liking but flavor good, ribs a little boney and not much meat. I asked for lean brisket but this fell on deaf ears. Stuffed baked potatoes was awesome. I would return but express my preferences stronger. This place should succeed long term and moving a few blocks over to 521 would most likely ensure that.“

“I visited the cafe late evening and the food was fantastic. I had a delicious shrimp taco with some well cooked wings. I had two servers that showed exemplary service. Cam and Cleo made my last minute experience in this friendly cafe so much more worth it. Will definitely be returning in the near future!“

“My wife was craving pupusas but I was craving pollo asado so we ordered both.The pupusas were big and stuffed with cheese. The curtido had the perfect “pickled” taste. The salsa was tasty with a kick!The pollo asado plate fed us both and we had enough left over for a second round each. The pollo asado was very flavorful and the smoked sausages were a nice surprise. The rice was good and the charro beans were delicious. They had a good amount of sausage and bacon in them.“

“It was four minutes till opening, we had walked in man I was with is 80yrs old. Told we couldn't sit at a table or bar just to wait outside on bench. We left not at all happy couldn't believe we couldn't stay inside. Forget their Rules, we ate at a more welcoming restaurant.“
