“My son and I were having a fun evening and wanted some great food to share while we had a movie night. We took a chance on this BBQ joint at the HEB and were beyond happy with the food, and even more with the service.
Alexa and Chris did a great job of putting together our orders, and serving us with a really big smile and promptness. This is now our go-to BBQ joint.

“I picked up BBQ fries(hand cut fries with chopped beef and cheese on them), a sliced beef sandwich, and a sausage sandwich for my family to try. Everything was delicious!! Nobody complained!! The prices were very good and you got your money’s worth!! We will be back!! 😋“

“So yummy! The baked potato was huge-had to break it up into two meals. My husband and daughter got ribs and brisket. The meat was so tender and full of flavor. They got fried rice and beans for sides. Everything was great. Giving Killens a run for their money. We’ll be back soon🤗“

“BBQ was very delicious! We ordered the potato with brisket/pulled pork and my wife the brisket plate. The sauce was damn good and the brisket super juicy!
Food was so good we had to take a break/nap on our way back to make it home 😋🤤. Would recommend.
*One note is they don't have public restrooms but not an issue because there is a gas station 3 minutes away and the restrooms are very clean.“

“For gluten-free peeps: Service was quick and food was good. I am gluten-free and I felt safe eating BBQ and coleslaw. It was my fault I should have asked if the coleslaw was gluten-free but I never in my life would expect ramen noodles in my coleslaw. So if you are gluten-free make sure to ask or let them know.“

“Ambiance: Brewery in a business park that is western themed with a small patio area and indoor dining area perfect for large groups, celebrations, or just hanging out! Pet friendly! Great beers & creative flavors! The Tasty AF and Ridiculous AF are all so so good!
Fun spot with an area of games to grab. Friendly and fast service. Beer to go options available. Clean & large space! Saloon Door Brewing is one of our favorites when we're in the area and to buy to-go cans from H-E-B.“

“The service was excellent! Greeted as soon as I walked in. Smiling faces at the counter and beyond. Chill environment, playing current country hits. Food: The potato all the way with chopped beef was great. The reason I give food 4 stars is the sauce, it was a bit bland for my usual taste.“

“I was here for lunch on Sunday 02-16-2025. It wasn't very busy, so I was seated right away. I didn't appreciate my location near the entrance to the restrooms, since there were no odors, I didn't make a fuss. My waiter Issack was very courteous and helpful. The restaurant section that I sat in appeared clean. I ordered a house salad with white vinegarett dressing. The wild west shrimp, and a house margarita. Of course I was served warm bread and butter. Everything was good, the food, service etc.

“It was four minutes till opening, we had walked in man I was with is 80yrs old. Told we couldn't sit at a table or bar just to wait outside on bench. We left not at all happy couldn't believe we couldn't stay inside. Forget their Rules, we ate at a more welcoming restaurant.“

“Been to about a dozen BBQ places around Houston and surrounding areas. Decided to stop here at Old Bucs and it's def one of the best. I ordered the brisket, pork burnt ends and sausage. It was all very good i'll be back thank you. Texas Monthly“
