It was an amazing gathering; the outdoor venue incomparable because of the gem of the San Marcos River view, the drinks and food delicious, the service great, and working with Denele Gunnarson, VP of Ivar's was refreshing. Thank you Denele and Ivar's River Pub for helping make our 50th Reunion so memorable! The 'spirit' of Ivar Gunnarson and his legacy is alive and well on the beautiful banks of the San Marcos River. “Been living in Lockhart since 2022 and finally made our way here. Food was tasty and delicious. Smaller sized restaurant that has maybe 15 tables and booths. Cozy feel to it.

I had the fish tacos which were amaIng. Wife wanted crawfish, but she opted for something else as the crawfish was $13.50 per pound. A bit steep for crawfish when other places are in the single digits. Son had the garlic Parmesan bone-in wings which he loved.“

“Stopped by for lunch on our drive back from Port Aransas. Service was awesome, and the food came out fresh and fast. The lunch portions are huge—the enchiladas are easily double the size of most Tex-Mex spots. The charro beans could definitely use a little more seasoning and love, but overall a great stop.“
