“This is my first time visiting Texas and we decided to try this place out for breakfast. I can honestly say this place did not disappoint. To start the cafe de olla is amazing. I was going to ask for creamer to add in but the server told me to try it first then think about adding it in. Thank god he told me to try it first because it was delicious on its own and they serve it in a traditional Jarrito Mexicano. The food was amazing. I got the breakfast torta and it was delicious. My family got the enchiladas, chilaquiles, and omelette and they were very pleased. I also recommend the cucumber lemonade. Our server Enrique was extremely helpful with our order and very attentive. Overall his customer service and the food was amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are ever in McAllen you should stop by.“

“The people in the back working very hard. I have been in an watching. For about 30min. Very professional an no one is standing around. Notice that all the people work together an help eachother. They were very busy with inside orders. This is on 0ct 5 2024 time is from 3pm to 4pm. 3 guys 1 lady all deserve raises. They have very good work ethics. That is something very hard to see these days.

The only thing that i can say for improvement is the tables were a little dirty an the place inside is a little small. But over all really good place.“

“Came in here with a friend and got the fajitas tacos 🌮. They were delicious 😋. What made them really good were the tortillias de maiz. They were fresh and delicious. The fijorles a la charro were delicious as well. Service was friendly and great.

Tacos were full, lemonade was great, this is one of the few places that uses an actual potato and not blended fake instant mashed potato, we got one with meat..it was so good too big considering we got 2 orders of tacos also! That potato came with a few chips, rightfully so, it was a great appetizer. Nothing personable about the service not rude but friendly enough. Great food.

Update: we went again 3 more times. Great service and consistently great food! Also I forgot my phone on the table and came back to find the wonderful staff kept it behind the counter. Much love for this place.“

“I live in Alice, I went to this place because I saw their place in u-tube, I am glad I did because their tortillas are almost as good as the ones my mother used to make. My wife ate nopalitos and cheese cordita and she said it was the most delicious she has ever tasted. I just hope the owner realizes the kind of cooks that he or she has because these are the best kind of chefs, they learned either from their parents or grandparents or both. My compliments to the cooks and if I were your boss I would give you a raise.“

This is amazing, a perfect restaurant for your family. They have endless options and you can tell they put a lot of love in every dish regardless of what you decide to order. The service is phenomenal and the prices are competitive, which means you get a delicious meal at a great value.

I used to think it was a little odd that this place offered sushi, breakfast, Mexican, seafood, and even some American cuisine all in one place; but I'm glad I was able to give this place a chance.

My fiance even left a tip, and he is usually very picky about tipping. He even told me that this has been his favorite place in the RGV.

“The lunch combo is a great deal, and the soup of the day (veggies) was flavorful but not spicy. One of the ladies brought out my baby a small separate bowl of soup & to go spoon without me even asking! Top notch service. The torta was very good. A great choice for a filling lunch thats not deep fried or greasy.

“I saw a review on another Facebook page about this place that made me want to try it. Turns out it’s very close to where I live. All my other favorite taquerias are much further away. I had the bistek tacos and they were delicious. They served beans as soon as we sat down and they were great too. I had a michelada and it was prepared perfectly! My husband had the tlapeno soup. It wasn’t spicy like he expected but it was still a delicious broth with chicken, cheese, rice and avocado. There is so much more we want to try from the menu and can’t wait to go back! This may be my new favorite taqueria! People stop sleeping on this place, go ASAP!“
