“What an adorable place with the most delicious, authentic German food we’ve ever had in the US. I had a lovely dry Riesling wine, pork weiner schnitzel with German potato salad & sauerkraut. It was a large portion & absolutely amazing. Hubby had veal weiner schnitzel & red cabbage. The veal was so tender. We loved it all & will definitely return next time we’re in New Braunfels. Make a reservation ahead of time. It’s cozy & quite popular. We didn’t have a reservation & it took about an hour to get a table, but it was really worth it!”

“My husband and I had dinner there last night for the first time. The young lady who took our order was very patient and friendly. The food arrived to our table within a few minutes and it was great. Prime rib was on point and the pork ribs were as well. I could eat a whole plate of their green beans. A man, maybe a manager, came to assist us at our table as we were trying to get my hubby's wheelchair closer in for him to eat. Great experience over all and we will be back and recommend to friends.”

“Today we went to the family weekend event at UT. Anyone who knows my David knows he's a HUGE football fan so we waited 3 hours for an autograph, however as soon as we were finally close enough to see the players they cut the line off and we were just barely too late. My son was obviously devastated but then we were met with an amazing act of kindness by the owner of The Brick Kitchen & Bar . Robert noticed my son and gave him his signed poster. Such a kind selfless thing to do and he made my son's day. We had a whole talk about acts of kindness and he promises to pay it forward to another person one day. Please support Robert and see him at his pizza shop if youre ever in Seguin because people like him should be supported 1000% Thank you so much again Robert for making our day.”

“We went for our first time. We were the only ones in the restaurant and service was very poor. We waited over 15 minutes for our check while the owner sat at another table chatting with someone. Food was good however the menu needs improvements. The descriptions were very vague and it didnt seem like a menu for a mexican restaurant.. And I have never been to a mexican restaurant that doesnt serve chips and salsa.”

“Jolt is a drive-through place where you can find great coffee! Anyway, you asked the ladies to fix it, they can do it. Love this place. The only foods they have there are muffin tops, I hope one day they expand and decide to do some kolaches. They do wonderful kid size blended or unblended lemonades. They also have frozen favorites with booze, the flavors are amazing!”
