The chicken and beef fajitas were incredibly tender and packed with flavor—served alongside rice, beans, and all the fajita fixings, every single guest left happy and full. Beyond the amazing food, the staff at Rabel’s truly stood out. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure both the wedding party and our guests were taken care of the entire time. That level of service made such a special day even more memorable. Even though we live in East Texas, we’ll definitely be stopping by Rabel’s every chance we get when we’re near La Vernia. If you’re looking for incredible BBQ or top-notch catering, do yourself a favor and check them out—you won’t be disappointed! We love them!”

“We checked out Cactus Bloom Cocina recently. It was really good! We had huevos rancheros and it didn't disappoint. Our server, Crystal was awesome! She checked on us constantly and had a great personality. The only downside was the parking. It was nothing less than stressful. It was a tiny dirt parking lot. Seemed like an ideal place to get a fender bender. Other than that it was a great experience!”

“Loved the old style stuff in the lobby ! The workers Teland Nikki & Zachary were so cool in having patience with us during the order process. My kid is very picky and they were such a good help in figuring out if the butter noodles or regular mac and cheese would be a fit for her. It was our first time here and I had to bring my wife as I've seen this spot before. I'm from New Braunfels and am looking forward to the next location opening.”

If you are one of the folks who had come here pre-covid and experienced the opposite, let me tell you, this is not the same place. “This was the best place to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious and the restaurant is clean and comfy. The owner and his wife were there to personally wish me a happy birthday. Try the poached pear for dessert; one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Congratulations Dave on a restaurant I’ll definitely visit again!”
