“Came in yesterday and my goodness the food was awesome! Best fried pickles I’ve had to date. My lemon drop martini was perfect! I had their BLT off the brunch menu and it was amazing. I like chewy bacon and this was a bit crunchy for my taste but still good. Definitely coming back here.“

“I was in town with a friend and we went to the Villa two days in a row. It was a great place to hang out , visit, and have some refreshments. The staff was very nice and the musical entertainment was great! I even met a handsome cowboy after a wedding who made sure I got to my uber safely. Sure wish I knew who he was.“

“Amazing place for families to hang out and relax, they hold wonderful events from concerts to vendor booths and kids activities. My favorite is the store called Artable Curiosities, highly recommend for teachers and crafts, really affordable reuse crafts all based on donations with cheap art classes suitable for everyone in the family. I’ve always had a positive experience at the Schoolyard. Mikey’s Philly cheesesteaks has the best fries ever!!!!“

“We love this place and are regulars here! The owners are sisters, and they are always so welcoming when we we come in. They know our drinks and have them ready for us as soon as we walk through the door! Best neighborhood bar and best ranch water in New Braunfels!“
“Goodwin's has a unique Texas flair with an antique-style speakeasy atmosphere that's both cozy and inviting. The bartender was fantastic, and the drinks were exceptional. The Spicy Margarita had the perfect kick, the Southside gin cocktail was refreshing, and the smoked pecan whiskey was a standout. “We were there with LP, a previous reviewer and we all thought her dress was nice. Jen the owner/bartender may have a dry sense of humor but she wants people to have a good time. She has never been demeaning or rude in any way. I’m sorry they felt that way, but this place is nice.“

“not only a great place to eat, but as you can tell from the last part of the name and awesome place to drink! Lively spot close to the sqare and lots of parking around the area if you can walk a block or two. Very friendly staff and best of all clean bathrooms too.“
“Decent drinks including a very large selection of "martinis" (though they are pretty far from the classic formula). Lots of events each week going on so check their Facebook page. The music is a bit loud IMO; it can be really hard to hear someone right next to you if you're trying to talk.“

Nobody ever came out to ask me if I needed another drink or came to get my empty glass. There's no handicap parking, entry, or restroom.I can say that it has a very nice atmosphere ,good music and it's a nice place to play some pool ????“

“My husband and I decided to stop in for a Dessert Martini after our dinner/date night, we live in the area so why not! We loved the atmosphere, it's very relaxing and not wild and crazy. The bar is very clean and has a very nice Ambiance.
Our bartenders Lena and Bryson were Amazing and very Attentive! We are looking forward to trying every Martini on the menu! ?“

“We happened upon Moonshine & Ale around 7:30 on a Saturday night. When we arrived, it wasn’t very crowded, which made it easy to grab a drink and get settled. The drinks were fine and reasonably enjoyable.
Once the piano bar music started, the place quickly became extremely crowded. The piano bar itself was fun and energetic, but the sheer number of people made it feel a bit overwhelming.
Overall, it’s a lively piano bar with a fun atmosphere — just be prepared for big crowds once the music gets going.“

“Update 2023: Unfortunately the Elks isn't what it used to be...... The last few times we've eaten there have been a disappointment, it's been warm inside and they managed to run off good leadership and stewards of the community!!
Original review from 2022: We are members at the Elks, and truly appreciate everyone there. They always welcome new guests, serve great food, have the best wood dance floor in New Braunfels, and there quite a few special people that volunteer and work there. Dances are always open to the public, so join us sometime!!“
