“We had a large party which was nice and our waiter was polite and responsive. However, the food came out much slower than expected and as all of us (10 ppl) work in food service we all felt it could have been quicker.

“OMG! They had the best ox tail soup I have ever eaten! The meat was cooked to perfection and the broth was amazing. After raving about the soup they gave us a sample of cabrito and mole, we were beyond words. It's a husband-wife team and they can cook and the waitresses are super friendly. You won't be disappointed, it's worth the trip! Enjoy“

“We visited this afternoon and words cannot express how amazing the food was and how sweet the owners were. The garlic naan and butter chicken was our favorite. We also tried the nihari and my son got the chicken tikka. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Thank you!“

“The environment is pretty grim as the owner and employees seem to only be there to do their job and make a buck. Dont expect a jolly welcoming place, but the tortillas are the best corn tortillas that I can find this side of the Rio Grande River here in the valley.“

“My daughter and I tried Mexican Restaurant Doña Paz in Weslaco for the 1st time & it was so good! The fajitas are tender, juicy and full of flavor. The rice was moist and flavorful. The beans are good. The cheese enchiladas are light and cheesy. I can't wait to come back and try other plates. The staff are super nice and friendly.“

This place was immaculate.
Food was so delicious I should have ordered more to bring back to Oklahoma with me. 😔. We ordered a plate that had 3 tacos full i mean full of meat. The plate also came with 2 lonches Mexico style, also full of meat and it was so soft the rite portion of seasoning the rite portion of cabbage, avacado and cheese. My mouth is getting watery . Anyways service was the BOMB the young man that attended us was the nicest I've met in a long time, he joked around with us he made us especially me feel rite at home. I would recommend people to go eat their. I can't show pictures because it looked so good I had to dig rite in. Jk here are the tacos at least“

Good ,friendly, nice, clean and good prices. I love to go and eat breakfasts on Sunday .home made even the pancakes 🥞 my family love rosys tamales ! But I have a long time without order tamales. I go for the barbacoa and menudo and breakfast ,tortillas y gorditas de chicharrón.

“Must know: food must be ordered to go and only cash is accepted. It's been like this for years, but it hasn't been a bad thing. The food is great and I keep coming back for more. I recommend the Mexican burger combo with an egg. I also sometimes get the order of tacos of bistek.“

He unexpectedly walked over to inquire which tacos I wanted and brought them to me when they were ready. 5 bistek con queso 5 pastor. 19 bucks. A little too greasy and need a lil more seasoning but the flavor is there. Would visit again.“

“Wow, we tried this place out of the blue and it was super good!!! Chips and salsa came with the order , the horchata was sooo delicious , the charro beans were good. I got the trompo tacos, and I didn’t like the flavor of those so I won’t get that again, but the bistek tacos were good. My combo came with the potato & it was perfect. I would come here again, and it might be my new taco spot.“

“I used the drive-thru service, staff was nice. I was told to pull up to front of store and wait after I ordered, which was no problem. I ordered 2 carnita tacos on flour tortillas. They were very good. The salsa was also very good. My Coca-Cola was nice and cold. They had on music outside and it definitely gave me that good Saturday feeling. I decided to just roll down my windows and eat in my truck so I could enjoy the vibe.“

“I went in for lunch. This place is very clean. All staff were very friendly. There are plenty of food items to choose from such as seafood, anerican & mexican. I decided to try their chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes & vegetables. The plating looked very appealing. The food was warm and very delicious. I feel that they have a professional chef in the kitchen because I was not expecting the high quality of the food presentation & taste. The only thing this place is missing is YOU as their customer.
