“My husband and I had date night tonight and decided to go to one of our fav spots, again. We've been going to Brandani's for almost 10 years. As always...our experience was superb, so I am taking a moment to give a review:). We're ALWAYS happy. The staff is top notch, the menu is consistently delish, we love the atmosphere, and it's a sweet bonus to be greeted by the Brandani's themselves. Whenever we find ourselves free to have a date night we can always rely on Brandani's for a lovely evening. Well, I somehow bumped my glass of red wine and it splattered all over my face and shirt tonight...but because the Brandani staff is so wonderful and we feel at home, it was easy to laugh off and continue to enjoy our evening together. Ha. Two thumbs up. As always! 🥰“

“Love this hidden gem just outside Quail Valley neighborhood. Serves quality Italian food with a nice dining atmosphere for less than going into Houston and rarely a wait for a table. (I have business lunches here). The chicken parmesan is tasty and the portions are substantial. Have always liked whatever I order.“

“We went last night for my husband’s birthday. While the food was outstanding per usual, the service was deplorable. We waited 40 minutes before our order was taken and just sat with waters. Bread came after appetizers. Kids were completely done with their meals before adults received ours. Difficult experience with two small children. When we first got there, only three other tables had people at them so it wasn’t busy. Definitely expected better service.“

“First of all the food was amazing! We ordered things that we’re on the menu and off. They made everything perfectly. Second, the staff was so nice, Felipe was our waiter and he went above and beyond. Lastly, Arturo came to our table and chatted with us and brought us things to taste, plus my mom wanted a special dessert that she was hoping Arturo would make and he did it just for her. “This was our first visit, so my review is based on very limited experience. The bread service at the beginning is a fantastic selection including two each of hot seeded rolls right out of the oven, slices of sourdough, and a few of the best sesame seeded breadsticks in town. The endive salad was large and exceptionally good. The pastas are all made in house. My wife's veal parmesan was well made, comparable to the best versions in town. I had the King crab with squid ink spaghetti, Nduja, cherry tomatoes, and corn. It was good, but there was a bit too much going on in this dish. Nduja is great on a pizza, but over-powered the King crab. The squid-ink pasta was hidden by the tomato/nduja sauce. There was one medium size piece of King crab. If they want to feature the crab and black pasta then I think they would do better with a less complex and aggressive combination of elements: perhaps, a light sauce of garlic, olive oil, and parsley with a touch of saffron cream. The wine list included a good selection of wines from California, France, Italy, and Spain. We had a nice Priorat which is not that common to find on Houston wine lists. It was excellent at a reasonable price. Our waitress, Kimberly, was exceptionally good. She knows her menu very well and struck the right balance between attention and leaving us alone. She gave us a complimentary slice of olive oil cake, which I had heard about but never had before. It is a light and pleasant way to end a meal. Thank you Kimberly. Overall, it is a nice, quiet, somewhat dark, restaurant with a good wine list at reasonable prices. I like any place that makes fresh pasta. Next time I will try a more traditional or subdued dish like the Bolognese or gnocchi, or perhaps Branzino.“

“It’s the cheese pull for me!! If you found them on IG, like I did… I promise you, everything was as delicious as it looks! Every bite was delicious. It was made to order right there on the spot. And the staff were SO friendly and accommodating. Fresh. Authentic. Homemade. I had the spaghetti and meatballs (which were delicious and HUGE) and the fried mozzarella. Next time I’ll go earlier so I can catch the 1lb stuffed meatball before they sell out. Def will be going back and back and back. Highly recommend!“

The waiter,Scott S serve the food and after He forget about us totally just to come back asking if we had finished I told him that we had indeed. I heard him saying ,on my back, the words "anger management" referring that to me. I understand the restaurant was crowded but you don't make distinctions with your costumers in spite the color, race or how bad is your English. And , by the way, if I need anger management Scott needs civility classes to learn how to treat people equally“

“I heard through the grapevine that Italiano's had the best lasagna in the area.
It was made with ground beef, not Italian sausage and the sauce was uneventful. With that said, they had enough cheeses to make up for that, somewhat. (fwiw, I've been exposed to authentic Italian in multiple stages of my life - even variations).
I'm giving the place 4 stars because we had two entrees, a slice of cake for desert and non-alcoholic drinks and the bill was only $35. You can't do a whole lot better than that.
We'll be going back again.“

“We have been loyal customers for over 20 years. Napoli has always been my go to spot for Italian. I have a few favorite dishes that I will always get. Only thing is- during the pandemic the quality of the food changed and the portions became smaller. We’ve been having more disappointing experiences than positive lately. But when you look at the circumstances it’s understandable. Out of 20 plus years, this is the first time there’s been a noticeable inconsistency. We still love Napoli! Definitely a place to try!“
