“My husband and I had date night tonight and decided to go to one of our fav spots, again. We've been going to Brandani's for almost 10 years. As always...our experience was superb, so I am taking a moment to give a review:). We're ALWAYS happy. The staff is top notch, the menu is consistently delish, we love the atmosphere, and it's a sweet bonus to be greeted by the Brandani's themselves. Whenever we find ourselves free to have a date night we can always rely on Brandani's for a lovely evening. Well, I somehow bumped my glass of red wine and it splattered all over my face and shirt tonight...but because the Brandani staff is so wonderful and we feel at home, it was easy to laugh off and continue to enjoy our evening together. Ha. Two thumbs up. As always! 🥰“

“I absolute love this Postino at Uptown Park. I came here for an afternoon snack. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. I told her I don't drink alcoholic beverage. She showed me the non-alcoholic wine and it was so delicious paired with the bruschetta.“

“I am a new regular visitor of Houston since my boyfriend moved here a few weeks ago and decided to order a random veggie sandwich and soup… the veggie Sammie and posole from local foods is probably the best veggie sandwich I have ever had!!! The posole was A+++++ and I am from El Paso Texas, where grew up on posole and have some of the best Mexican food you’ll ever eat. The sandwich was so flavorful and fresh, I added tofu and vegan aioli and could not believe how delicious this was! The posole was top knotch! Clean, tasty and the perfectly seasoned. It’s been 3 days since I had this meal and I am dying to go sit and actually eat here!!! Can’t wait to go and try something else! “We were glad to return to this tried and true restaurant. Our steaks were perfect and all the side dishes delicious. We had a wonderful waitress and overall immaculate service. The staff did their best to accommodate our request for a less noisy environment within the restaurant. Our guests were delighted and we could see they truly enjoyed their dining experience. It is not an inexpensive restaurant but well worth the money if one wishes to have a memorable evening. I feel the staff would be well equipped to handle a special event, such as a birthday or small party. No wait in getting our car when we left. So everything flowed efficiently and smoothly from arrival to departure. We will definitely return.“

“Had the most delightful high noon tea experience. Brought in 15 ladies, and none left dissatisfied. Quick apology to other diners if we were too loud.
The table decor was soo immaculate. Food was delicious, though not enough for 15 women. I ate a savory scone, though the young lady said some sweet ones were part of it. Never saw them on my side. But everything we ate, was delicious.
Here was my observation about food served. None of the items brough out was evenly distributed, if each person was supposed to eat at least 1 peace of each item brought. I hope the chef and manager pay attention to that. Seems if you have a large group, you get served less food per person. 1 server for my party wasn't enough. Tea always got cold or finished before we could get a refill. The young lady though did her best, and I applaud her for her composure. Tea options were tasty as well, especially the toasted coconut and Chai.

“I usually don't review but this place deserves it. It was my first time eating here and it was amazing. Albert explained how every topping was made and the sauces. Also I have never had a pizza place that could do a pizza half/half with different sauces. Usually it's only toppings but same sauce when doing half/half. Making this my go to pizza place“

“Great drinks and great service. This bar offers some of the best cocktails in the city. All their bartenders are true professionals and even with it getting very busy do provide great service.

The only downside about this place it is kind of small especially with how busy this place can get. You might have to stand to enjoy your drink but you will still have a great time.“

“We went last night for my husband’s birthday. While the food was outstanding per usual, the service was deplorable. We waited 40 minutes before our order was taken and just sat with waters. Bread came after appetizers. Kids were completely done with their meals before adults received ours. Difficult experience with two small children. When we first got there, only three other tables had people at them so it wasn’t busy. Definitely expected better service.“

“Now that Thai Gourmet is out of business, this gem is my favorite Thai restaurant in Houston. Try their Crispy Chicken Fried Rice and you won't be disappointed. My kids love that dish so much that they inhale the food as soon as food arrives. Every time!

“Slowpokes lives up to its name — both in the best and not-so-best ways. The coffee is always good, and the staff is genuinely friendly. The shop has plenty of seating and good vibes, but most of the chairs are fixed without backs. That means the few tables with benches and back support are usually taken, leaving the rest a bit uncomfortable if you’re hoping to really settle in.

Service is consistently slow, no matter the location. Even if we’re the only ones in line, there’s always a wait for drinks. That said, it’s still a nice spot with a warm atmosphere, good coffee, and a laid-back feel — just don’t come here in a rush or expecting to “post up” comfortably for long.“

“I was there yesterday with my family for my granddaughter’s birthday. It was the first time for all of us. The workers were very nice food was great. I even took have a dinner for my husband and his parents. The only complaint is that I did not get the gravy for the mashed potatoes. Bummer, since I live too far to go back for it we had to do without. So check your order before you go. This was my only complaint. The smothered chicken was excellent, squash casserole too and the potatoes tasted great, even without the gravy.“

“Went for dinner after work and had a blast! I started with the Almalfi Coast spritz and really enjoyed it, even though I’m not normally a spritz girl. For appetizers we had the whipped ricotta, burrata, and fritto miso. The dipping sauces that came with the fritto miso were so good, and the ricotta on the bread was delicious. Finally the desserts were SO good!! Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs, but we LOVED the tiramisu and the mushroom looking dessert we had!! Overall great experience and can’t wait to go back when it’s warmer to enjoy their great patio!“

“Quick Friday dinner. Waitress was friendly and checked on us often. Ordered egg plant parmigiana and lobster ravioli. Had good flavor. Lobster raviolis after a while the richness of the sauce began to taste salty. The Brad brought to the table was mediocre. We had also ordered the artichoke and spinach dip - way too much cheese and not enough spinach. We did have ask for a wine list. We may return but it may be our back up dinner plan place to go to. The restaurant is cute and all but rather crowded and tables are rather close to each other.“

“This was my husband and I first time going to this restaurant. The food was very tasteful and fulfilling. The service was definitely a 100%! We had an amazing waiter who knew the menu and made delicious recommendations. If you ever get a chance to visit please ask for Omid, he gave us the best experience I think I have ever experienced from an upscale restaurant. He was very attentive and friendly. You can tell he truly loves working there and care about his customers. We are definitely going back to experience another romantic evening.“
