She answered all our questions, even what type of grapes the ice wine was made with. The true star is a carrot, served as a tribute to his mother. The steaks and duck were great but the carrot was extraordinary. Most places can cook a prime cut steak but this carrot. It is simple and tender. Sweet but not overdone. I have eaten Berns in Tampa and Christner's Prime in Orlando and this place is on an equal footing.“

It was my first time there so I was blessed to enjoy their soup sampler with a small sample of New Orleans Creole Gumbo, New England Clam Chowder, and my favorite Roasted Poblano Cream Soup! I ordered the Grouper Fish Tacos which comes with their Dynamite Corn on the Cob and a grilled serrano chile. It was soo delicious with the corn covered with a cheese and what looked like Cholula hot sauce! For this price, the selection of meats and side dishes were great. We ordered LA Galbi, Nubiani, and Chadolbagiand from the menu and also picked several other meats and side dishes from the buffet. They were all great. They also had seaweed soup and beef & daikon radish soup, and they were delicious as well. Their dessert drink was way too sweet for us. The place that used to be there was terrible, but Salsa is terrific. Our waiter, last time, was not good, but the food is consistently delicious. It was fried to perfection and served with some well fried French fries, Texas toast, and the best tartar sauce ever. Our food was served quickly and came out nice and hot. The food itself, however, was pretty bland and lacked much of a flavor profile. I was surprised by this. My sister liked her food (shrimp) but said that the shrimp was a little overcooked. She loved her Thai Tea! My niece who is vegan enjoyed her vegetables, rice and tofu. I had the beef, vegetables and rice and was just not impressed. It was bland, the beef was tough and the veggies needed more cooking time. Rice was okay. I felt the prices were too high for what we got. If the food had been excellent, I would have been okay with the high prices. Also when you walk in people just be standing around and won’t let you know there’s not a line, you have to walk up to the window to order. She is supper busy! So again, you will have to wait.
