“Wow, the breaded sushi is spectacular, I give it a Michelin star?. We liked it a lot. The place is small but very nice. Very good service, very clean and tidy. They have many dishes, soups, ramen, salads, etc.
The chocolate cheesecake is good because it is not cloying.
I will definitely return.

“We went with a very small group. It was early and not busy at all. We were quickly sat, and our waitress/hostess was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The guys cleaning the table next to us asked us if our food was good and if we needed anything. We ordered the shrimp potstickers for an appetizer. I liked it. The rest of the group did not. We had steak, chicken, and scallops with rice and noodles. It came with salad, soup, and 2 pieces of shrimp. The soup was a bit on the salty side. The salad was dressing and lettuce. The food was grilled just right. The taste was good, seasoned just a little too much with salt. The best part was the chef and show. He was funny and gave us a hard time (in a good way). We really liked the experience and are planning to return soon with more people.

Just FYI, parking is not great. The area near the restaurant was full, so you might have to park a little ways out, but just a little.“

“The staff was friendly, I ordered their honeydew milk tea with boba and the spicy tuna roll. The size is more of a Japanese size than an American size, that said, I am full after eating one whole roll by myself. The flavor of the sushi was very good, the fish and the avocado both tasted fresh and I liked the addition of the sesame seeds. The spicy roll itself wasn't too spicy (for me), but the wasabi was spicy (which is good because that means I could actually taste it! It wasn't watered down like how some places give you). The ginger was also very flavorful. Overall very well balanced sushi, with good quality ingredients. The ingredients are what make this place good ?“

“We have to start off with the bad. The US Waygu buns were terrible. Absolutely no flavor or seasoning on the patty. Definitely regret ordering especially seeing how it was $6 a bun. Avoid this. The Agedashi Tofu was okay. I have had better, the flavor was just not hitting.

The sushi wasn’t amazing but it was still definitely good. Worth going. I enjoy my spicy scallops. My gf fav rolls were the mackerel and the eel roll. But the absolute best thing we order were the skewers. They were super flavorful and delicious!!! You have to order them. I would also like to add that they have a big menu with different varieties such as ramen, curry dishes, bento boxes and more! Will have to come back to try the other items.

Overall it was good but besides the bad things mentioned above another thing is that I felt the prices did not match the amount of food we received, for example the skewers. Price to food ratio was not proportionate. Maybe over charging a little. So really the true rating I would give is like a 3.7 starts out of 5.“

“My family loves Basil cafe! Typically Asian restaurants are not as known for their services. But every time we visit Basil cafe, we are impressed by them. They are super friendly and easy to talk to. Then it is the food. My kids love Ramens from Basil cafe, they are delicious. My husband and I love they have a large selection of food choices. “I have been so patient with waiting for the opportunity to finally try this ramen place! They opened up and by the time I had the chance to go they were temporarily closed. Needless to say I am very excited that they are finally open again! If you live in the 4 corners area of Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Plano you know that there's slim pickin's of GOOD ramen places around. I promise you that this one is so worth it!!! I placed an online order for take out and it said "ready in 20 min." I kid you not I walked into the building right at the 20 minute mark and the man was stapleing the bag to my order closed. Talk about precise! The man working told me that there weren't any bean sprouts in my ramen order because so they weren't fresh, to compensate he gave me an entire order of 4 veggie rolls. What?! Love that level of customer service! Plus, I was debating on even getting the veg rolls and now I'll always order them because they are delicious! Sushi was always amazing and the ramen was so good! The only adjustment I'll make to it next time is to ask for my miso veg ramen it a little spicy. My husbands spicy ramen was PLENTY spicy enough. He loved it!!! Now everytime I have a ramen craving we will be at Kuma!“
