“This was our first time at the new location and we loved it! Great food, great drinks, and great service Carmela's gets a 10 out of 10 from my family. The waitress was amazing checking on us often, refilling our drinks before they got low, as well as interacting with our 3yr old daughter who loves to talk! The manager came by our table and checked on us to make sure everything was perfect. He is the one who told me I should try this weeks special the ceviche! We just found our new go to Mexican restaurant see yall soon Carmela's 👏👏👏👏“

“OMG, I experienced the best customer service ever today! They forgot to put my sweet and sour sauce in my bag and when I got to work I called and spoke to the manager. He came to my job and dropped off the sweet and sour sauce. Best manager ever!!!!! Love this place ❤️“

“I recommend everything about Schnitzel. From the first time I walked in and heard the family banter between Monica and her sister and children, to the best German food this side of the Atlantic, I have been back again and again. Now I only get to go once or twice a year as I live in Tennessee (where I have yet to find comparable German fare). So Schnitzel is one of my “must do’s” every timeI am in the area. If you do not support this wonderful establishment then shame on you.“

“I been looking for a good soul food spot since been back from Houston and found one today when I ate here..I been wanting spot to sit and eat for some good oxtails and dessert…banana pudding and kool aid on point and yams amazing and oxtails fall right off the bone. “We went with our friends Kenny & Dena to eat at Charlie’s Bar-B-Que & Catering this afternoon in Beaumont. It is some of the best BBQ around. While eating we seen a picture of Charlie and Aaron Franklin standing together under a tent. Charlie’s wife came over to ask how our food was and I asked her about the picture, she proceeded to tell us how they received an invited to cook at Aaron Franklin’s BBQ cook off in Austin, she was so nice. After we finished our meal Charlie came out to check on something, and we stopped him and started talking with him about how he Smokes his meat, type of wood he uses….etc, he was such a super nice friendly guy to talk and visit with. I would highly recommend if your hungry for some BBQ, or need an event catered, to give them a try. Their BBQ is delicious. Oh, I almost forgot, then we went to DQ in Nederland for some ice cream to complete our evening of festivities……..LOL 😂“

“The best Pho in town. Small restaurant, but the best food! I am eating the Pho Ga, and previously I was here and ate Pho Bac Biet. I haven’t had a good Pho in this town until I found this restaurant. They serve the Pho in ceramic bowls, big plus! I can’t stand plastic plates.
Definitely will keep coming back.“

“Not only is this one of the few remaining Lubys in Texas it also has a drive-thru.
I ordered the cheese and bacon chopped steak combo meal. It comes with two sides and a roll. I also ordered a slice of the classic chocolate icebox pie. It was less than $18 and everything was absolutely delicious.
The young man who waited on me through the drive-thru was very helpful and they got my order out to me quickly“

“La Catina. Yes we address this with management. If you'd like to feel dismissed and like the laughing stock. Please visit this establishment. They know exactly how to hear that your food is incorrect and then laugh at you while you are leaving the restaurant. Furthermore, while you have the courage to discuss the matter with the hostess the wait staff is will continue laughing at you. We did request to speak to the manager. The hostess had more compassion. We were offer a coupon for our next visit. We declined. No meal removed or refunded. We love to visit local establishments and support as often as we can. I hope things will improve and no one else is made to feel this way.“

“I enjoyed a nice lunch with my wife and parents here. Really enjoyable atmosphere on the patio. The weather was beautiful so that helped a lot. I liked the casual vibe of the restaurant and the menu, and the food was really well done despite the simplicity of the selections. They obviously agree that there's no reason a simple sandwich or burger can't be really good food too.“

“The inside is decorated very pretty very festive. The food was decent. Amount of customers that was in the restaurant at the time, it took a little bit more time than it should in our opinion. Service was slow. Not sure why because there wasn’t many people in the restaurant. Good place for a good memory . This place is walking distance from many hotels.“

“We dropped in for lunch Saturday 1/27/2024 our waitress was Hannah. We were greeted with a smile. Hannah took our drink order and returned quickly with our drinks. We placed our order and Hannah repeated it back making suggestions along the way. Hannah returned shortly with pipping hot rolls and cinnamon butter. Hannah checked back on us several times while food was being prepared. The food came and was prepared perfectly. I ordered the large Prime Rib (rare). The Prime Rib was prepared perfectly. The wife had Chicken Fried Sirloin which came out perfectly. The was brought out by a different server and in a moment Hannah came back to check on us. We had so much food we could not come close to eating it all. Hannah provided us with to go containers and small containers for the sides. Hannah by far was the best waitress that has ever served us. We will definitely be back and request Hannah for our waitress.“

“This place was a spur of the moment stop for us and we absolutely LOVED it! From the get go, everyone we saw was friendly and welcoming. Our server (woman with short blonde hair and black shirt) did a fantastic job of checking in on us and was so nice with any questions we had! Between her and her fellow server who was attending to the group of elderly women behind us, we knew before we even finished eating that we would be coming back here regularly when we make our trips to Louisiana! Please give everyone on the staff shout out for us because they deserve it“

“Came with friends to eat here and the staff was amazing they were very nice and friendly the buffet is so well priced 14 dollars for unlimited food in Joe Bidens economy that is a rare sight the food was very good some was cold but it isn't their fault it has just been sitting their desserts and seafood are to die for and they put new food in the buffet fairly often I'll be a repeat customer“

“Lunch is the best time to go. Always fresh food and they will accomodate changes to the menu with a smile. Salsa is really good. My wife and i have been going here since 1985. Some things never change...and that's not a bad thing.
