“Always worth a stop at Rudy's. Some of the best brisket you will ever have. I love the coleslaw as well. This place is pretty popular but the line is never super crazy. They offer a lot of good breakfast options as well that I haven't tried yet but definitely plan to one day. Overall they have something for everyone here.“
“Pop’s BBQ was sooo good! We tried it for the first time today (9/1/24) and really were blown away. We had the brisket, ribs, and banana pudding. You can absolutely tell the amount of care that is put into prepping and cooking the food. We will be making this a tradition to come back each month, for sure.“

“OMGOSH, all the times I've come into HEB had never stopped and eaten at True Texas BBQ. The staff at Walnut Ave were amazing. The food was outstanding. My husband and I shared the El Jefe and oh my it was so so good.

“Find a way to get there! I kept putting off trying this because it can be very busy traffic area but I am surely glad I did! The jerk chicken was juicy, the ribs fell right off the bone with perfect taste. Mac n cheese, corn & cole slaw 10/10! Great portions and the heat was perfect! Definitely will be back soon.“

First time here n the cashier after telling her it was our first time had the customer service of a rock
When I asked her abt the sides she just pointed to the whole menu above her
Not helpful at all it was almost like you’re bothering her!!!!
So don’t expect great customer service ZERO personality but passing her the food was great!!!!“

“This has been mine and my daughters favorite spot for years, but recently we’ve gone 2 times in a row and they were out of ramen. That’s what my daughter gets and both times we’ve had to leave and go somewhere else. It’s disappointing but hopefully the ramen will be back and we can start going again. Food has always been wonderful so I’m definitely missing it now.“

“Loved this place! The stand was very friendly and service was on point. Nothing came wrong or incorrect. The food tasted better than anticipated. And I spent on $20 more than, I did the night beofre and another restaurant. So to be the price was as good as the food.! Will definitely be back soon!“

“Drive through experience was great. Dinner time. Moved quickly. The young man taking the order was friendly and repeated the order to us. At the window, he greeted us and was super polite. Doubled a vegetable in place of a third item. The food was packed perfectly. They included condiments (that I forgot to request) and everything tasted great! 👍🏽“

“This morning I dined in at this location (unfortunately I have no pictures due to my tight schedule) I ordered 3 bean and cheese tacos with two bacons each and one sweet tea. Short and sweet interactions with the staff who were quick to make the food and tidied up the tables quickly. The food was fantastic! They stuffed my tacos and they were fresh and hot! I haven’t gone in many years for breakfast or lunch but this re kindled my desire to go back to this location for a larger meal! I know this might be a simple breakfast but it really started my day right!
