“Welcome home. If I could title my review, that would be it. From the moment I stepped through the door, the (cute!) young man behind the counter made me feel like he had been waiting for me all day. I have anxiety, but it melted away with his charm. The mac and cheese wasn’t ready when I got there, so I was given two choices: they’d replace it with any side, or I could wait and they would make it fresh. Who doesn’t like fresh food? I was entertained while I waited, and the time flew by. Food was hot and fresh. Service was above and beyond. It was my first time in Grand Prairie, but I hope to be back ASAP — only partially for the eye candy!“

Clean, food was super fresh, so much bread. Our bread lady was Audrey and she was the best. She got out to go boxes for us and was super friendly about it. Excellent customer service

“I 100% recommend this restaurant, mainly because of the friendly people who work there. I especially want to recognize Mike Quinney who helped us with a gift card issue. I hope the owner Chris Carol sees this so he can understand what an asset he has in Mike Quinney. He helped me and my mother above and beyond and I want everyone to know what a great store partner he is. The food is delicious also and it’s been a go too since I was very young.“

MJay’s House of Smoke did not disappoint! I brought my relatives visiting from Arizona, and they absolutely loved it. “I was craving some pies and went to Mac-Donald for the apple pie just to be told they are out. So as i was omw home i turned at Soulman's cause i wanted pies lol. Buttermilk pie is the only thing i ordered and it was very delicious and satisfying. I could only imagine how the good is. I will go back for the food and keep yall updated.“

“I ordered takeout for a corporate meeting with clients from overseas. Our guests wanted a real Texas barbecue experience and these guys delivered. Eric went above and beyond. “I made my second trip to David’s BBQ on (11/13/25) around 2:pm. I took my 3meat plate and my Sausage sandwich to go. I took a friend (who absolutely loves BBq) for her first time. BTW: she loves Spg Crk.… she took one bite of the okra and the ribs; and instantly abandoned her favorite bbq joint and has now moved her bbq membership to David’s BBq in Pantego. The customer service is the best, from the front door and out every staff member is friendly and accommodating. The food is hot and made with care. The food is fresh and the served portions are worth every dollar and is reasonably priced. I have many bbq enthusiasts in my circle and I plan to send everyone here to try this bbq. This is worth the stop. Hope to see you there. (And nope, these people don’t know me and I don’t know them.) however; anything that one finds good, in the world should be shared. ** rated atmosphere 4 (only because the inside has an older out dated look) absolutely no other reason.“
