“I saw Cathy at my job cuz she was picking some stuff up. I asked her if she would put two gumbo aside. When I got there after work she wasn't there but the other lady was very nice. She offered to let me taste it but I declined. I'm having it now for dinner and I love it. I love the spices and the right amount of kick to it. The gumbo is shrimp and crab and it's delicious. I would definitely get this again.“

“Visited for Valentine's Day and had the special Chicken Fried Ribeye with 2 sides, a drink of choice and a special dessert. It was an amazing meal at a very reasonable price. One of the few recent 1st visits to a restaurant that my wife and I agreed immediately upon the first few bites that we'll definitely be returning to have a meal again. Great atmosphere and seats more than it may seem from outside. It's great to have an option in Historic Downtown Port Lavaca that makes a date night, or any night, worth the visit. Great place!“

“This is a great authentic mexican restaurant. There is a large varied menu. Serving all traditional tex-mex items. They offer many lunch specials daily. They also serve pancakes. The service is absolutely fantastic. Very friendly staff and responsive to the customer. Atmosphere is pleasant, and all the local, whether plant workers or the countless people who enjoy fishing in Matagorda Bay, all love this place. One of the vert best dining locations in Port Lavaca.“

“In town from Houston for work. Figured I'd give this place a try and wow was it good. Hard to expect this good of food from this area but was pleasantly surprised. Got the crab Rangoon to start. 9/10. Then got the sesame chicken and ordered it spicy. Perfect level of spice to it and delicious. Will be going here many more times while in town.“
