“Twin Peaks McKinney is amazing! Faith is a ROCKSTAR!!! And when Juju is there, top tier for those 2. Mia is an asset just like Faith. My only complaint is the bartender Bee, I don't know what she does. She walks around the bar trash talking patrons, making drinks for herself, standing on top of clean glasses and very rarely do I see her make a drink or ask customers if they need anything. Faith and Mia run that show.“

So wouldn’t you know it, I find out there’s another one just about 10 minutes from my auto detailing & ceramic coating business in Little Elm. Talk about a win! Same awesome vibe, great food, and a huge beer selection that never disappoints. Whether you’re there for a quick bite, hanging with friends, or just winding down after work, this place nails it. “We hosted our family reunion at The Hub and it was an awesome experience! We reserved the cantina area of Macho Taco and had a catered fajitas buffet. The food and drinks were delicious, and everything was set up perfectly for our group. “This was a cool little find. We were treated like royalty by our server Rachel for being first-timers. The venue itself is cute with an outdoor patio in addition to indoor booths and tables. The French Onion Soup was very tasty and a bit different - topped with puff pastry rather than cheese, but the cheese was still nice and gooey inside the soup. My wife said her tenderloin salad was good. We both enjoyed her blackberry smash. We live in Garland so we won't get there often, but it will stay in our radar when we're in the area.“

“The food, service and entertainment were great but the young hostess seated us in the worst possible table they have. I had reservations, we arrived 15 minutes early and there was an open booth but she sat us at a small cocktail table facing the restroom hallway and end of the bar where the waitstaff hangs out. The table we had was a small table probably only meant for cocktails. We had appetizers, salads, and entree with side dish. We could not see the singer or the arial act. Very poor decision on the hostess for seating any party at that table when others were available!“

Only thing on the sampler we weren’t crazy about was the fish roll. They offered us puff puff. Light, delicious and fresh from the fryer. Mains were majestic stew and Jollof rice with beef tips. All were rich, flavorful, and wonderfully spicy. It was an outstanding meal and we will absolutely be back.“

I was a bit overwhelmed by the numerous options available to me (as a vegetarian for 30+ years, usually a fairly limited selection at a burger joint), but Bentley reassured me I could build any combination I’d like. I went with the Vegan Patty (freshly made in house), w/cheddar cheese, crispy onion straws, ketchup, lettuce & jalapeño chutney on the side. It was Effing PERFECTION! I’m so glad we stopped here, huge shout out to Bentley on being exactly what we love in our server: Genuinely friendly, helpful & attentive- you ROCK!“

“First time eating at Cheba Hut. This is a new location off 380 in McKinney. I came in for an early lunch. There were just a few people there. Place has a funky stoner vibe as you would expect. It has tables as well as a bar you can sit at. You order at the front counter and they bring out your food. I went with a popular sandwich the Kali Mist. It has roast turkey, bacon, chipotle mayo, jalapeños, avocado, cheese, pickle and their special sauce Shake and House dressing. I skipped the tomato onion. I got the medium size on white bread. The toasting of the sandwich makes a big difference. The flavor combinations were unique and worked very well together. Sandwich was a good size and reasonably affordable. I usually do Jersey Mikes for a quick sandwich. I’m going to need to try a few more from Cheba and if they are as good as the Kali Mist, I might have a new favorite quick sandwich stop. Definitely hit these folks up. Puff…Puff..Give.“

Blue Goose Cantina is always solid, but the bar experience with Pedro and Carlos takes it to another level, Stasha and Roman are also good. These two bartenders are absolute legends behind the stick — super welcoming, hilarious, quick with the pours, and they make everyone feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. Big shout out to Hira for amazing service at the high tops. We brought some out of town guests and they were blown away!

Shoutout to Pedro and Carlos for keeping the vibes high, nailing every drink (those Blue Goose Ritas are dangerous in the best way), and especially for steering us toward the Blue Goose Quesadilla. That thing is insane — perfectly crispy and easily the best quesadilla. Addictive!

If you’re sitting at the bar, ask for Pedro or Carlos. If at a high top ask for Hira. They’re the reason we'll keep coming back. Blue Goose Cantina just earned a permanent spot in my rotation. Keep crushing it, fellas! 🌮🍹🤠
