“Let's say this is pretty cool. To go grab a nicely stacked sandwich. Seeing some womderful youth working so well is amazing. The staff really puts a sandwich together nicely. It's not thrown together...smashed up..left out.

Very respectfully executed. Red oak is pretty small so it's pretty cool seeing people you know.

The brownies are delish.

Remember it's not thrown together and gets nicely toasted...so that means a wait.

It would be pretty iconic to actual firefighters items in here since it's local but independently owned and hires locals.

“Very good Ultimate Italian toasted 😋 Don't let all the lettuce fool you, this sandwich has a good amount of meat. Jimmy Chips are good size compared to most fast food offerings. I used my reward and received the chips free, but they are only $1.99 which is very reasonable for 2 oz bag. Store was clean and music not too loud. All in all, a good experience.“

“Food- 3 the sandwich seemed so small, I actually measured it when I got home and it really was 6”. They are a little stingy with toppings & my meatball marinara was more marinara than meat. I remember now why I stopped buying subway and choose Firehouse, Jersey Mike’s, or Jimmy John’s .
Service- 2 the language barrier was a huge struggle and the look of irritation & frustration the ladies had, made me irritated because I’m speaking as clear as possible. I always get cheese on both breads & that created way too much confusion for such a simple request.
Atmosphere- 5 stars all the way! It’s inside of my favorite Tiger Mart/Exxon and they always have a lil vibe in there.“

“I stopped in this location and was greeted with a warm “Welcome to Firehouse Subs!” The crew was happy to serve and gave me a few options based on customer popularity and their own personal preference. I chose the turkey, bacon and cheese sub and added jalapeño. It may have been the best sub that I’ve ever had. The manager made the sandwich himself so that may have raised the bar but either way, the sandwich was FIRE 🔥

I thought it would be 4.99 for sub+ 2.50 for chip & drink, but we paid $5 + for the sub. Other than that issue, the food was good. Just check your receipt for correct pricing.“

I normally do not write a review, but this young man’s customer service was exceptional, in a time where good service is a lost art. I wanted to highlighted this young man because of his professionalism. He was respectful addressing me every time as “yes ma’am”, attentive to customers being served and those coming in, while training a new employee (showing every bit of patience & support to the trainee). His demeanor was appreciated and impressive, given his various roles/ responsibilities. He is definitely Supervisor material (when the opportunity arises) and deserves recognition for his great service- thank you Caleb! It was a pleasant way to end a very long day.“

“I didn't get his name but whoever the young man was working between 11am -noon on Sun, Oct 27th was phenomenal. He was the only employee on shift at the time but he operated with calm efficiency, while greeting everyone that walked through the door and let them know that it would be a brief moment before he would take their orders. This gentleman was also very knowledgeable about the menu and all promotional offerings for the location. If he's not already, please consider this young man for a manager/leadership position because he's definitely demonstrated that he has what it takes.“
