This is the only store where the staff seem actually happy to be there. The staff are Definitely the reason I keep coming back here theyre all so nice and work well together. Today the little girl at the front, Bell is her name if i remember correctly. who's usually always there remembered my order and name and even how I dress the sandwich, she was super super kind, always is. “I don't remember how the East Hampton Sandwich Company made the list, but we decided to make the trek to Oak Lawn from Arlington one Sunday after church in the quest for someplace new and different. It turned out to be one of our better choices for new places in recent memory.\n\nIt is bright, fresh and inviting and, while there was no line to order, we stood in the line for quite a while poring over the menu. It's not overly large but quite a few things looked really interesting and good. I had The Cuban with Sweet Potato Fries, my wife had the Honey Chicken Sandwich with a Spring Mix Salad, and the other couple had a Cheeseburger with Fries and a Cheesesteak with Fries. Everything was made to order, host (as applicable) and fresh. And everyone was very happy with their choices so, regardless of the item, they were all good.\n\nAfter you order, you get a table stand with a number and they bring you your order when it's ready. They were pretty busy, but it only took 5-10 minutes to get our food. Drinks are self-serve. The prices were reasonable, and we were glad we made the trek over to Dallas. If you're looking for something different to try, I recommend giving it a shot.“

I ordered some clam chowder and a lobster roll to go and when I got to the counter, I discovered that this location doesn’t accept cash (which I intended on using ) and they don’t have Apple Pay ( which they have at most of the other locations including the shop on Inwood Road just north of Forest that I patronized yesterday) ... so I looked at her and she looked at me and she said I tell you what this one is on us.... to which I said no no I don’t like that... so she gave me my food and I slipped $40 into the container that housed all the pens on the register counter for those paying with credit cards.... it’s the way the employee handled the awkward situation... A situation I created because I didn’t verify the methods of payment...a situation that was remarkable resolved. Diamonds are rare and valuable and that employee is a real gem!“
