“I actually haven’t been to Nish in a while since I don’t tend to crave Mediterranean, but as I am thinking about small businesses to review right now, Nish stands out in my mind. Great service and great food every time. We will eventually be back when our taste buds swing back around to wanting Mediterranean.“

“Wife and I had dinner pre-Valentines, was seated immediately at our 8:10 reservation. Appetizers we had the garlic bread and cheese board which was served on a playing card sized serving plate. Very small portion, but is supposed to be so no big deal. The soups - French Onion and Champagne Brie Soup were both delicious. Now for the main course. My wife had the Dover Sole which was ok; have had better at another French bistro in town, but nothing to complain about. However, I had the Wagyu L'entrecote Steak Frites Deluxe... Steak and fries. Again, the steak was ok. Tender for the most part, tough in other parts. But the fries were a big disappointment. I guess my expectation was something elevated... truffle fries or Parmesan and parsley seasoned... something. But what I got was plate of soggy, uninspired fries. Perhaps unexpected too much, I don't know; I just expected more.

We finished with Tuile Aux Mures which was sublime. Fantastic in every sense of the word. Lastly, the service was exceptional!

Throw in a couple cocktails, a coffe... $269 after tax which is on par. 3.80 stars... let's round up to 4.“

“I took myself here for my birthday dinner last year! I still remember how lovely of a time I had — I was away from home and wanted to have a nice dinner but it was very important to me to find a place that wouldn’t make me feel odd for celebrating alone!

First, the food was delicious, of course. It was expensive, of course, but definitely very appropriately priced for the quality of the food and experience! As a college student, I wanted to find a place where if it was expensive, I knew it was not overpriced, and it definitely was not! The steak and other foods I ate were delicious! The wine selection was also great and their sommelier was excellent and well versed on the menu.

Second, the service was lovely and I felt very well taken care of on my birthday. I never was made to feel awkward, out of place, or unimportant. In fact, they made me feel very welcome and treated me with compassion and kindness — even excitement — for my choice to spend my evening there! They were so kind and friendly. I loved the employees I talked to.

And finally, the atmosphere was beautiful and very appropriate. It was not anything overly themed or special, but it felt very nice and refined, and tailored to the quality of the restaurant and food.

Overall, I really loved my visit. I thank them greatly for the compassion and lovely experience for my birthday!“

In some moments he was nice but my mom asked what comes on a bento box because she's unfamiliar and he told her "it's on the menu". She just wanted someone to explain it to her because she was confused by the sushi and the meat options. Obviously not an item she orders often. She asked what the meat is for (i think she thought you get sushi or meat she wasn't understanding it was a part of the box) and he looked at her like she was stupid and pretty flatly answered the question. It embarrassed her. My mom is a really kind hearted person so it was frustrating watching someone make her feel dumb for asking a question in an unfamiliar environment. Sad. The food itself was good. The waiter likely was having a bad day. I've been a server and understand. But wish he'd been kinder to my mom.“
