“I have been eating here for about 12 years and family and I eat pretty much everything there. Also, Tony makes the best cakes ever!!!! For every party, we usually get our cakes from him for all of our kids and family, we have never been disappointed! Everybody that eats from the cake always wants seconds to take home! Anybody who needs a cake made for any event, this is the place to go! Oh and you have to try their cortitio and their Cuban sandwich! Thank you again guys!“

“Found this little food truck off of I-35 and it didn’t miss. Such an authentic Cuban experience from the familiar customer service to the food and drinks offered. Tried the minuta and it was fried fresh as well as the pork sandwich which was seasoned with a chefs kiss. Will most definitely recommend La Perla Del Sur and will be passing by here anytime i go to Austin to get a sense of closeness to my Cuban culture <3“

“A bit pricy but it’s understandable with how much food they give you. Like one order is enough food for 2 people. Food taste great except the tostones were a bit underwhelming. Both times I’ve had their tostones they were cooked just a bit too long. They have a lot of dessert options. Their flan is amazing! Other than that the atmosphere is great and they’re very attentive.“

“Forgot to take a pic of it, but you must get their Auzzy's Famous Smash Burger! It has got to be one of the BEST burgers I've had in a very long time. Bratwurst was great too, but it's the smash burger all the way for me. I am definitely coming back soon!“
