“Today met a dear friend for breakfast, my first time at La Casita. I ordered an egg and vegetable hash that was delicious along with a wonderful cappuccino. It was a delight to find a cappuccino with such well proportioned and balanced flavor, a relief from the huge milky offerings so many other places serve. We shared a guava and strawberry filled pop tart, which involved a perfect delicious tender flaky pastry wrapped around a both slightly sweet and tart filling. Our server, Tess, was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped us with our selections, and later we were treated by Jesus to a scrumptious seasonal glazed bun. That glazed bun was honestly too good for words, mildly sweet, hint of cinnamon, just oodles of delicious texture and subtle flavor. Obviously, I will return soon.“

“You don't often find a place with 100% on reviews but if anywhere deserves that score it is Latinos Bakery. The thing is; calling it a bakery is only half the story. They also have fresh cooked tamales and an entire menu of authentic Mexican cuisine. I've tried a number of things but the tamales and tacos are my favorite. The tacos are the pre-Covid price of $8.49 for 5 and the tamales are $20 a dozen. They are worth EVERY PENNY! I love the Roja sauce and my wife likes the verde. The pork tamales are the best but the chicken and cheese are amazing as well. The pastries and such are what give it the bakery name but the real treat is the Tres Leches cake. They have classic or chocolate and both are amazing. I just can't recommend this place enough. The they are always nice and smiling to me and even let me try stuff if I'm curious but not ready to commit to ordering a whole plate. This is how every business needs to be run! Now excuse me, I need to rest because I nearly overdosed on tamales and tres leches!“

They were so sweet; my mom really wanted an in person cake tasting because so few things had been in person during the wedding processes compared to when she got married. “Joan’s cheesecake was out of this world! When I was on her website, I didn’t see cherry cheesecake on her menu and when I contacted Joan to see if she could make one she happily agreed! My husband fell in love with her cherry cheesecake, which is quite the accomplishment. He hasn’t been able to find one that didn’t leave such a bad after taste. Joan’s cherry cheesecake was so delicious. It blows the cheesecake factory out of the park! It was so creamy and the cherries were the best we’ve ever tasted. He had given up trying to find a good Cherry cheesecake too. I don’t really care for cherries on a pie or cheesecake, but I LOVED the way Joan made them. The weren’t overly sweet and they weren’t too tart. I recommend Joan to everyone. Joan will definitely be my go to for cheesecake and I can’t wait to try all the other cakes as well! “The bakery inside H mart, right at your left hand side when you walk in the entrance of left side of h mart. The bread quality, in my opinion is better than 85 degree ( I like 85 degree too). I especially like their butter cream bread. They sometimes have buy one get one free for the yesterday’s breads.“

“My search for some good authentic Mexican conchas has finally ended!! I lived in Grand Prairie for 3yrs and they have one panaderia that left me longing the sweet taste of authentic Mexican conchas. Moving back to Garland, I found nothing that compared to them...until now.
Their conchas are everything you've missed from Mexico. They're just the right amount of fluffy and savory and the topping is just perfect- not too much, not too little and perfect amount of sweetness.
Haven't been there personally but my husband said the staff is polite and pleasant. For those who complain about them running out of bread early, what do you expect? It's a bakery. No different than donut shops who run out by 10am or so...“
