“Stopped in today with my hubby. It was wonderful! Great ambience with cool wooden floors that the owner installed himself. Who, by the way, is a super nice gentleman. We had a blueberry scone and hot fresh croissant from the oven and they both were excellent! Baked with European butter as described by the owner/baker! We washed them down with a hot mocha and cappuccino that were chef’s kiss perfect! If you haven’t been, just go. You’ll be glad you did!“

Our server was rude, and didn’t seem like she wanted to wait on our table, she was dismissive, never checked on us, and randomly slammed the check when we weren’t even half way through our meal. Jayda was friendly to all her other tables except ours.“

“My cousin and I visited the Cafe this morning for breakfast. Our waiter - Phillip - was amazing! However, the food this time was a little disappointing. My cousin ate her grits and I had the Frech Toast. We also had bacon and potatoes. The bacon was not cooked the way we wanted. A new order was made, but still not satisfactory. And it was very salty. So we did not eat the bacon. Normally the food is outstanding but today's visit was a little off.“

“You’re a life savior. Less time in the kitchen, at the grocery store and trying to figure out what’s for dinner. All I have to do is follow the easy instructions on the pan. Whether it be after a long day at work or a busy night with sports, I have something ready for dinner in just minutes. I can’t say enough about the food. Everything is delicious. We have yet to eat something that we did not like. I like the fact that we don’t eat the same food over and over. I always look forward to what the menu will be for the next week. “Promenade is such a nice cozy café. The owner is friendly. She acknowledges us and welcomes us back everytime we go there. I thought that was a very nice personal touch. They have a varied selection of pasteries, coffees, bubble teas, and smoothies. They have just the perfect blend of atomosphere, quick friendly service, and a light breakfast. It is such a treat for my kids when we stop there on our way out. 😋“

“Excellent. Stopped by bc the parking lot was full. Could tell people here must like the place. \nHusband ordered the catfish dinner. Absolutely delicious. Crispy fillets cut into strips. Homemade ranch dressing was light and not oily! \nI had the club sandwich. Everything was cut thick, ham, turkey and fried bacon. Everything was fresh! \nThey have Mexican food on the menu as well and served chips and salsa when you arrive. \nThe ice tea was fresh and offered sweet tea and wasn’t icky sweet 👏🏻🙌🏻. Enough food for a “to-go box”. No room for dessert but I’m sure they are delicious too. Friendly and attentive waitresses. \nWe will be back if every in this area.“

They have helped me develop many marketable skills and gain an amazing cohort group that I now call my friends. As an introvert it is very difficult for me to socialize but being here I am part of a group of people that value excellence. They make me feel at home. The advisers are also a great support system. I have learned networking is very important. What better place to network than with the leaders of tomorrow?“

“I can’t speak to the food. I only get coffee here. It is delicious. Book Club Cafe is great place to have a wind-down-cuppa. Quite and spacious yet somehow intimate. They roast the beans themselves. They do a great job. They make their own syrups themselves in house.
House coffee is very satisfying. For an extra 20p it’s bottomless so you can sit and drink all day … or until you go into a caffeinated coma.

“Saw good things about this place and decided to try it. Was glad I did! The atmosphere was super laid back; nice and chill. The staff were some of the most friendly and helpful people I've ever seen. They took the time to help me understand what their offerings were.

I got the citrus tea with a jelly and chicken poppers. The person with me got a frappucino, which was great, and a breakfast Waffle. Such a great and unique experience.

Sucre Cafe also has board games, was playing R&B atmosphere music (through great sounding speakers) and overall fosters an intimate environment. I'll be coming back here often. Just figured outbthisbyesr their crawfish is tasty and well cooked.“

The burger was quite flavorful (where a lot of turkey burgers are bland) and the million dollar potatoes were delicious. The waitress suggested the potatoes since I was unfamiliar with the menu and it was a great recommendation. Paid at the table with my phone including tip, so no check out hassle. The food was a little pricey, but that seems to be common everywhere you go these days. Would eat here again.“

“In this economy, this is the place to go. By far the best priced meals you can find. Not a huge selection of stuff but that’s no big deal. Delicious food and great portions. Little to no wait time to get a table.

Servers may be all over the place but get off your high horse and call one over.“

Some of the lower reviews say things line the red bean shaved ice is too expensive? Whatever, they piled that extra large bowl up with cups of fresh fruit and all sorts of goodies for like 15 bucks? Do you know how expensive things are nowadays? That was a steal in my book, I’d pay 20 for that delicious thing, my family of four all had our fill. This place is seriously flying under the radar, service was friendly and food and drinks came out in good order. It’s in a quiet strip mall, give it a visit you will not be disappointed.“
