“FANTASTIC!!! First timer here. Just happened to stop by this area for something else. Thought I would check it out, and grab take-out. I will say I don't usually leave reviews unless asked... But I went outta my way to make this one. I also was sad when Taste of Asia closed, and the only sushi on that strip was Koger and Albertsons... BUT!!! This place was awesome! Super friendly staff. Sweet and well kept little place they have opened up. And we felt the food was absolutely delicious. Everything felt fresh and had great flavor. Priced at what you would expect for sushi, and worth the price. This is our new favorite spot! Please check it out! I don't want want them to ever close! :)“

“OK, funny story I came here Wanting something to eat and the rooftop description led me to come here. I honestly had no idea it was a sushi restaurant. I wouldn’t have come here, but I’m so happy I did anyways. I was greeted with a complementary sample of the sparkling wine, and also a complementary sample of the salmon sushi . It’s such a beautiful view however I’m allergic to seafood more specifically shellfish, but directed to stay away from seafood as well due to possible cross contamination and the possibly of shellfish Portions being in all seafood. I ordered The edamame hummus It was so good. They are so accommodating the service was top tier. The drinks were also good and the waitress was also good. The view is beautiful. “We had an amazing meal at Hatsuyuki Handroll! The fish was incredibly fresh and delicious, and there were plenty of options to choose from beyond just hand rolls. They were also very accommodating of dietary needs, which we greatly appreciated. One thing to keep in mind is that they do not take reservations, so arriving early is a must. We got there right when they opened at 5:00 PM, and there was already a line outside the door. The first people in line had arrived at 4:15 PM! It's impressive to see how busy they are—good for them. The food and overall experience were absolutely worth the wait. We can't wait to come back!“

“I actually have lived down the road from this place for about a year but I always seem to overlook it when I'm looking for sushi. This was a huge mistake. This place was absolutely amazing the service was great the price was unbelievably inexpensive. Everything was so fresh and delicious would highly highly recommend for anybody who lives in the camp Bowie area. The spicy crunchy California roll so good and the Philadelphia roll very good as well. I got everything in those pictures for 24 bucks can't beat that anywhere.“

“I brought my mom here for lunch yesterday. The waiter that served us had kind of a crappy attitude honestly. In some moments he was nice but my mom asked what comes on a bento box because she's unfamiliar and he told her "it's on the menu". She just wanted someone to explain it to her because she was confused by the sushi and the meat options. Obviously not an item she orders often. She asked what the meat is for (i think she thought you get sushi or meat she wasn't understanding it was a part of the box) and he looked at her like she was stupid and pretty flatly answered the question. It embarrassed her. My mom is a really kind hearted person so it was frustrating watching someone make her feel dumb for asking a question in an unfamiliar environment. Sad. The food itself was good. The waiter likely was having a bad day. I've been a server and understand. But wish he'd been kinder to my mom.“

“Been a life long fan and have supported Sushi Axiom for years. Today after Bass Hall we decided it was drinks and maybe an appetizer. Arrived 9:20 and were greeted with a “you gotta be kidding me” face and told the kitchen closed at 9. Asked if we could do drinks at the bar, she proceeded to say the bar closed at 9:30. The door clearly says it’s open till 10pm. I own a restaurant myself and if anyone ever did that to my patrons it would be their last day. You’re open until the hours you advertise, or change your hours. Disrespectful and conveniently misleading. I will think twice as there many sushi options for our next sushi visit.“

I suggest having the sauce on the side if you’re not into really spicy things. My friend got the beef bowl and it was delish. The beef was perfectly seasoned and the sauce had a great flavor. You don’t get much protein, so next time he wants to order it with extra meat. I got the west side Ramen which was yummy. The broth was ok, but the noodles were good and plenty. I got the pork loin since I always get the pork belly, so it wasn’t as flavorful. Overall it was good, but I’ve had better. Definitely a place to try if you’re in the area and/or want to eat good food.“

I got the Curry Vegan Ramen. Vegetable curry soup topped with napa cabbage, cabbage, carrot, bok choy, green onion and ajitama. It came with Housemade Vegetable Noodles as well. Highly recommend this spot!

“I have only used this restaurant for take out, but going into it there appear to be mostly empty tables and few if any people eating there. It appears clean, but pretty plain Jane. The food is incredible and there is no msg added. The food is fresh and always prompt and hot. The menu is an extremely varied Asian dishes. It is a top choice in my book.“
