“We just moved here to st hedwig and I found this local restaurant, I wanted to try their breakfast after reading the positive reviews and they did not disappoint. We stopped quickly to get 4 bacon egg and bean tacos to go, my husband who is really picky loved them and so did I. The tacos were so delicious along with the beans, the tortilla was very soft. I definitely want to come here again to dine in ?

“My Dad & I recently ate there this last Saturday evening. We have been searching for a good mexican food restaurant after El Ranchito's closed in Seguin. That was my go to restaurant for my 92 year old Dad for 40 years. He ordered the Mexican plate and was delighted everything was delicious. I knew we have finally found our new go to place when he put their salsa over everything on his plate. Love their corn tortillas, the best.😋👏👏👏“

“Went to check it out. Waitress was not very attentive. She was chilling on her phone. Told her is was my first time and she was rushing me. Like, girl, I don't even know the menu. Nice inside. Food was really good. Her service just sucked. Didn't know where to pay and that You pay at their register. She was just on her phone while I figured it out...a first timer that told her it's my first time. I will go back. Just not with her. Definitely worth the try. Also, not pricey.

Update. Came for lunch today. The atmosphere is so cute. My waitress super nice and attentive. Do not recommend the shrimp cocktail.“

“When will the tasting room reopen? We miss going there. They have a lot of space to social distance and with a lot of places reopened don’t understand why it’s not. I’ve known Carsen for a while now, and every time I see him and Annie at the ticket bar, I know it’s going to be a smooth and positive experience. They both bring such good energy — professional, friendly, and always on point. Whether it’s a hectic night or a chill one, Carsen and Annie handle it with ease and make everyone feel welcome. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows. Leave Definitely two of the best — the ticket bar wouldn’t be the same without them!“

7am the earliest is when they open now not sure why.

The food is actually very good from someone who has been many places globally.
The young man at the counter is very shy but kind and has to put up with the sometimey cook in the back.

Don’t be shocked to hear them say they don’t want to make something and the order is too big.(usually it’s not)
Not very good for business.
They will put restrictions on how many of a certain item you can buy.
Overall this isn’t the prettiest place to stop but they keep it clean at the tables and they don’t too long to get your food out to you.
Small mom and pop shop so come with that in mind and you will get some pretty good tacos for sure.
Tea is a bit too sweet for my liking but heck I don’t like diabetes on my first sip.

“It is an extremely comfortable place. It kind of looks like something you would not want to go into but that would be a mistake because the food is very good. Since it is small it can get packed very quickly.

“My new favorite spot for breakfast tacos. The ladies at the counter are always nice and the tacos are always tasty. They don’t skimp on the filling. I went a few times just to make sure and they consistently make big boy tacos for sure !! I normally don’t eat the salsa from other places but here it’s a must.“

“When I find a place that I like, I usually tell myself, "This is a do-over." Mike's Taco House is one of those places. I really like their breakfast tacos. They will make them how you want them. I like to add potatoes and cheese to the chorizo and egg tacos; they really pack them full. The service has always been friendly. I would recommend this place if you're in the area. As for the atmosphere, I think it's too small of a location for their operation. It's not really inviting for dine-in customers. Good news, they have a drive-up window, so don't let that distract you from checking them out.“

“The food here is simply delightful. Typically, the sauces can be heavy and filling 8n themselves. Here, after trying practically everything on their menu, the sauces are light, vegetables are always firm and crunchy, and the meats are plentiful within the offerings.

I had the Shrimp in Garlic Sauce, which was delicious (it could have been a little more spicy for my tastes, but they provided chili sauce, which was fine), good sized shrimp, hot n sour soup and 2 egg rolls w/fried rice. Definitely required a to go box, all for 12.00. I was stuffed and a little shocked at the price.

When I pulled up she came out and said they only had two things ready I told her I didn’t mind waiting, she said it would be about 20 minutes I said no problem, I paid for my food and less then 5 minutes my food was ready which I was happy about. Her attitude needs to change she is real snappy and rushed me out of there.“
