We made the trip, arrived just after open at 11am and there was already a line - impressive! The food was OUTSTANDING! Come prepared to want to try everything on the menu and give them all of your hard earned dollars. We spent $140 for two people because we're from Michigan and there's nothin' like this at home, but it was worth every.single.penny! Everything on their menu is fairly priced and if you can’t afford, don’t go to a higher class establishment, it’s that simple. It’s a wonderful experience where you don’t have to deal with bar trash and worry about people acting like idiots.The bartenders were exceptionally friendly, and the drinks were both well-crafted and reasonably priced. I’ll definitely be returning again and again! We had to update this when we read some lower reviews. This was the cleanest bar we’ve ever been to. They dust and clean frequently. There are little gems in the bathroom that make it so cozy and you can tell they take care of customers well. It’s the little things and that’s why they are still open.“

“Idle has a great atmosphere, the bartenders are very friendly and always know what regular customers want. The location is in an excellent spot on Brooklyn Ave downtown. Idle is great place for people to meet new people and have conversations with others after work. If you are looking for a family and dog friendly place to relax with a good selection of drinks and a fun Happy Hour, Idle is where you want to be!!! They also do private events for clients and can easily help organize them!“

When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! “I tried Smith’s BBQ for the first time today and it’s a bit of a mixed review. I had the four meat sampler (brisket, ribs, sausage and chicken) with green beans and baked beans. The ribs were good but not memorable and the brisket was a bit chewy BUT, the sausage and chicken were EXCELLENT. The baked beans were simple but perfect. They reminded me of a family picnic. In my opinion, the green beans were OUTSTANDING and the star of the show. Very unique flavor that hit the taste buds like WOW!
