“I have tried almost every Sushi spot in San Antonio and Shiro stands above and beyond everyplace I have been to. Every single piece of Sushi was super fresh and just melts in your mouth, it is honestly going to be hard to go anywhere else after having been to Shiro. The prices definitely reflect the quality and freshness difference compared to other places and is 110% worth it.“

When I find a restaurant that has a menu that intrigues me, I create my own rating experience and order everything. The Beet salad was awesome. The the swordfish was prepared perfectly. The ricotta cavatelli ??. The Desserts ?.
I was only in San Antonio for a short time, but this dining experience was memorable.
I'll be back to order the other half of the menu, but I was told it's a seasonal menu, so when I get back, I'm open to trying what ever the chef puts on the menu.“

“I love this place, been regulars for over three years, food is always good and fresh. Only thing I can say is PLEASE PLEASE offer more veggies options. Broccoli is the only veggies you have and that’s not a broad selection. I know you have chef specials and sometimes you offer other veggies, but need more on the regular menu. Sometimes I order for pick up or delivery, chef specials are not on online ordering. So stick with just broccoli as a veggie option“

They even have 3.5 lbs Cinnamon Roll that is accidentally vegan. We didn’t order that as probably won’t be able to eat it all. Every thing we had were yummy and satisfying. Green Brekky includes 1 huge pancake, sweet potato and pecans, scrambled tofu, tater tots, and 2 sausages. Plant Powered Bowl had a spinach tortilla, topped with baby spinach, scrambled tofu, sauteed onions, tomato and peppers, plush refried beans ans tater tots. These were huge meals and perfect for hungry travelers.“

“We hosted a Celebration of Life at BJ's Brewhouse, Hwy 281 N. Could not have been more satisfied with the atmosphere, service, and especially the food. There were 80 of us with the Pizza and Salad Buffet. EVERYBODY there remarked how wonderful how wonderful the pizza and service were. I've heard terms like "never had pizza this good", "the service was excellent", "wonderful place." I highly recommend this particular location for events. EXCELLENT.“

The dining space is simple, but quite lovely, and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Service was excellent and perfectly balanced in attentiveness. With hours of 7 AM to 4 PM, this is a breakfast and lunch place, with a varied and adventurous menu that caters to meat-eaters, vegetarians, vegans, and diners in need of gluten-free alternatives. On my first visit, I had the excellent spicy fried chicken sandwich, with sides of home fries and a wonderful arugula salad with cherry tomatoes, quinoa, and a balsamic vinaigrette perfectly blended between sweet and acidic. I look forward to returning again and sampling the extensive breakfast menu. Plenty of beverages are available, and there is a stately espresso machine that speaks to a restaurant that means business when it comes to coffee. This area of Potranco has been in dire need of a sit-down coffee house alternative to Starbucks, and ELISE CUISINE is it. I’ll admit that I was initially a bit cowed by the menu prices, but the portions are very generous; I left with half my meal unfinished, so I was really getting two meals for the price of one, and in truth, virtually all the dine-in, non-fast food alternatives in the area are similarly priced, with nowhere near the ambience and elegance. I plan to be a regular at ELISE CUISINE from here on out.“

I’d rather buy my own steak and prepare it at home where I can have some decent lighting and see my date.“
