“Had a great time at Coco's on the Canal, was my first time there. Some girlfriends and I went for Singo Bingo for Galantine's night. The bingo was a blast. A couple of complaints. #1, there was no reservation signs on any of the couch areas when I got there. I was the only one in the place so I picked a couch that was open, sat there for an hour with 1 of my girlfriends, no one told me it was reserved and when the party that reserved it arrived, I had to move. Not very happy about that. In that whole hour I sat there. I spoke with the bartenders, not one time did they tell me that seating space was reserved. Secondly, it was Galantine's Singo Bingo night. A guy won the black out bingo both games. That's total BS!!! It was Galentines night for God's sake!!! If they play they should've at least had their spouse go up and claim the prize instead of parading around and gloating AND especially when you have every Thursday night, singo bingo. boo!!! 👎👎👎👎“

My boyfriend and I have definitely tried other places in Kemah but have definitely not won for our go to place like this place has. Please come and give them your money and business“

“This place is a hidden treasure - Although I've driven close to The Hitchcock Post many hundreds of times, I had no idea that it even existed until a couple of nights ago when a friend who is familiar with the establishment took me there.

Arriving close to midnight, the bar was busy but not too crowded and we managed to find a vacant table almost immediately. Someone arrived very quickly at our table to take our drink orders and she came across as being very polite, friendly and knowledgeable about what drinks were available. After taking our order it only took a couple of minutes before she returned to the table with our drinks.

There was a mixed bag of patrons in the bar ranging in age from around the mid 20s all the way up to people in their 60s. It was definitely a friendly crowd, split roughly equally between male & female and I would say that the majority of people were well-dressed in going out attire which thankfully wasn't too formal.

The juke box was loud enough to be heard but at the same time wasn't overpowering, and the restroom was very clean and well maintained.

This is definitely a place that I'll be returning to now that I've found it. I'm not sure if food is served there, but if it is then I'll definitely be making my next visit around dinner time.

All in all, having a drink at The Hitchcock Post was a perfect way to finish off a long and tiring day.“

“What an experience. The Clear Lake Shores Police Department has set up a high-intensity policing area. If you visit local businesses, make sure you look both directions before doing anything. They like to sit in local parking lots, watch stop signs, turns, traffic lights, everything - handing out citations left and right. It really puts a damper on experiences knowing that when you leave, you have a high probability of immediately getting pulled over. What's a few hundred dollars, right? We can all afford a ticket to visit a great restaurant or venue. Make sure you salute the boys in blue. Protect and serve, right? Make sure you try their drinks here.“

Let’s start with the in person experience… You are welcomed as soon as you come in the door whether you are sitting at the bar or sitting at a table. Super friendly you don’t wait very long and a drink is in front of you whether it’s a well drink or just water with lemon! The food is phenomenal. I am personally hooked on the fish tacos! When the owner is there which is pretty much 24/7 he will definitely come up and say hello to you introduce himself and after that, you’re not a customer, you are a friend. It’s a place that you can go to by yourself and feel comfortable. On a date or even with a group did I mention the fish tacos are delicious and the fries too and I might as well tell you that the Moscow mule is pretty tasty too! “Mr brother in law is a regular here and in a bike club, he has been asking me for a year to come out and check it out. It was Wednesday night steak and it was really good, I had macaroni and cheese and green beans with sausage and had me sum dandy ole ice cold draft beer man what else could you ask for after a hard day's work? “My husband and I went here to relax after a few days of our vacation in Galveston. We were staying in Texas city and looked up local bars and this one had the best reviews. It was clear to see why when we got there. Pat was very kind, the bar was clean, and the atmosphere was laid back. We aren't locals, but we were treated like we were. When we go back on vacation to the coast and we want to relax after a day of play, we will come back here.“

My wife is in the final stages of brain cancer so everything we do as a family is precious time. When one of the owners...Ray...saw us praying before our meal, he came over and greeted us and told us we were a blessing to him. We visited a lot, got to know about his family, etc. He brought cake and churros and the best special drink for my wife. My wife's late father's name was Ray, and this Ray gave us our favorite memory from our vacation. A couple of my adult daughters cried tears of joy and gratitude because of him. Ray will be a friend of our family forever. He was a very special blessing to us. Especially my wife. Guys like Ray deserve the best. Eat at Casa Fiesta often. Best restaurant experience ever! One of the items offered is a sampler plate that is usually costs around $40 but closer to $20 during the week. SO MUCH FOOD and always delicious! During the cooler months they have soup flights. “Love Cabo! However our experience today was off. We ordered drinks and at bar and then got a table outside to order food, and the waitress refused to serve us, stating TABC rules, but we weren’t ordering drinks from her, we are really good customers and tip really well. I’ve never had that happen and have always had good service there. Maybe a new inexperienced waitress, worried we weren’t going to tip her? Or maybe I didn’t know you couldn’t a have drink tab at the bar and order food at a table separately? I’ve worked, waitressed , in the food industry so this was new to me.“

“The seafood was fresh. We had seafood Ramen, seafood boil bowls, and fish tacos. Cajun tots topped with crawfish etouffée were delicious. We enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the decor and service was on point. Portion sizes were generous. I highly recommend coming here and will definitely be back.“
