“My hubs stops here for breakfast headed out to work. He recommended it to me.........I will pass every single donut shop to go here and get my breakfast! We got a dozen sprinkled donuts, a buttermilk donut, a dozen iced sprinkled donut holes, 2 sausage egg and cheese biscuits and a ham egg and cheese crossaint (havent got to that yet, bc everything was so good so far lol) and chocolate and strawberry milks!!! 10/10 recommend. Absolutely delicious and the staff is fast, efficient and friendly. Even with it being busy! New fav spot!“

“Tried this place for the first time because I was craving kolaches and wanted to try somewhere new. The employees(not sure but might have been owners?) were SO friendly and patient with me it made me really feel appreciated as a customer and made me definitely want to return! They had two different size kolaches which I like, I don’t like that Shipleys only has one size. I always get jalepeno kolaches, so I got one of each size and some donut holes. The kolaches were great and the donut holes were huge and also delicious!“

“Still great after all these years. I used to stop here every Sunday morning after kids completed their volunteer work at Animal Rescue. The bag of donut holes never made it to the house, but the Kolaches and fresh donuts were something we looked forward to enjoying. We were most fond of the amazing Apple Fritters and Bavarian Cream filled. Old fashion buttermik were regular hit too. Guess what, 15-20 years later, under new ownership, they are still great. “Family owned and operated business with heart and soul. They open early at 4:30am which is great for us early morning people, or those all night study sessions that usually end with breakfast. The jalapeno sausage kolaches were so fresh with a large sausage inside and amazing, fluffy dough around it. Warmed to perfection and a great size.

I gave it 4 stars because the only thing this location lacks, in my opinion, is that there should be a broader drink selection. There's usually only milk, orange juice, or apple juice. “I absolutely love Shipley donuts. Anyone who knows me knows I am their #1 fan, but the chocolate filling tasted more like pudding than I expected. I know my chocolate filled donuts and that batch was not to the standards I know Shipley has. I will try them again but this time it missed the mark.

2/22 update: what a disappointment. I tried again and the chocolate filling still didn't taste right. So, I went to another Shipley to compare. See the photos and you'll see the difference. The darker filling in the filling i have tasted all across the Shipley empire. The lighter chocolate is have experienced twice and neither time brought me back to those Shipley stores.“

“This is a good location and the next closest one to me. I will absolutely pass up the one rt around the corner from me at 25417 Hufsmith Kuykendahl to come to this one. This location has fresh donuts, great friendly service, and I constantly see them cleaning. The young man often there on Saturdays when I go practices proper procedures with money handling vs food.

I support this location and advise others in the area to. Stay away from the 25417 Hufsmith Kuykendahl location unless you like stale hard donuts with a large complimentary order off bad service and attitude.

“All the workers minus one are very nice. There is a big overweight man who always has an attitude and is not respectful at all, even when you try to be extra nice for his benefit. He makes me feel unwelcome and yanks money out of my hand. Today, I had to tell him not to do it again. For this reason, I gave service 1 star. He needs to change his attitude. A person working in service can not act that way if they want people's business.“
