“We always love our late night eats at Mony’s anytime we’re in midtown. Fresh quality ingredients, best sauce and cheese around just makes the pizza great. Large menu with all the Italian pasta specials, and now serves breakfast and large range of desserts, too. You’ll never leave hungry. Great service. Maria and Joe make it a point to greet you as friends, and tell you about the new recipes. So glad I’ve got leftovers to enjoy it again tomorrow!! A+ family owned and operated.“

We also went with the Crochette. The “salsa verde” was fabulous and the perfect pairing to the sourdough bread. The wine recommended was awesome. “I grew up on CiCis. I swore them off after their prices went to $10 a person a coupleyears back. I was used to that $3 (then $7) buffet and felt like they had gotten crazy with their prices.

Tonight was my first time to this location, and a CiCis in general. I took a chance based on the reviews.

This visit restored my faith in Cicis. The food was fresh, well timed. Clean! The employees were all in happy moods. It felt like the old days. Whoever is running THIS CiCis, has been doing it for a while.

“We very quickly added Parry's to our list of usual choices for dinner and lunch. They're our favorite for pizza now. It is a bit loud for our taste, so we do our best to visit in the off times between rushes. So far, every server we've had has been very welcoming, professional, and upbeat. That's a good sign. Our only recommendation is that they work on being more proactive when it comes to topping off drinks. That is an easy fix, though.
Give them a try if you haven't already done so. You won't be sorry.“

“I'm a huge fan of wood fired/brick oven pizza, and I have always felt that MOD is a terrific option in that it not only offers so much in terms of customizations, but that it is also very affordable.

This location has always been clean, the staff friendly, and the food speedy. Even during peak hours you will find a place to enjoy your meal, and you can get in and out in a timely manner.

There's plenty to choose from in terms of pizza vs salads, toppings, sizes, drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic), etc.

Some tips:
There are plenty of signature pizzas to request, but I would build your own. You could start with a signature pizza and add to it. Also, when you pick up your pizza you can ask for a drizzle of pesto or balsamic. Or if you want a side or two of ranch, they will hook it up. Lastly, consider joining their rewards programs for deals, points, and a free no-name cake on your birthday

We had a large order that we traveled from Baton Rouge to get, it was ready on time, cooked correctly, and had that perfect grease soaked, crunch. “This is the a typical mom and pop's restaurant. It is small but cozy and clean. The owner was from California and came to Houston with his idea of serving pizza and tacos. As different as that combination sounds, they are a hit! Both specialties are made with the best ingredients. The pizza dough is fresh and made to order. As a former New Yorker, I could tell. His pasta dishes especially the shrimp pasta was excellent. His tacos are also killer, especially the barbacoa and pork stew tacos. I highly recommend this place if you're ever in the EADO area for breakfast or lunch.“

“We've driven by this place so many times and never tried it. Never saw any cars there. Man, was I wrong! The triple pepperoni is a great choice for any pepperoni lover! The 6 meat!! With stuffed crust!! Simple Simon's ingredients aren't so simple! They are top shelf and they aren't stingy. Toppings get piled on edge to edge leaving just enough room for a nice crust. Two medium pizzas was more than enough and we still have plenty of leftovers. What's better than left over pizza? Leftover pizza from Simple Simon's, that's what. We moved here from NY and couldn’t find authentic NY style pizza anywhere that satisfied our standards until we came across this gem! Their soups (Zuppa) is sooo good!
