“Don't let the location of this place fool you. Yes, it's in a gas station but it may be the best shawarma and meat skewers in houston. The meat was so tender juicy and flavorful. They give you so much for the price, I almost felt wrong only paying $25 dollars for all the food we got. Even the fries were seasoned and fresh. The hospitality of this place also puts it over the top. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Highly recommend this place!“

“I come to the place WAY too often and that's okay. I absolutely love Volcano Hot Pot. I usually only ever do the hot pot and it's usually enough. Bbq is cool too but you just need to focus more on grilling the meat. Atmosphere is people talking and eating and enjoying their time together always a pleasant trip. The staff is amazing aswell one guy knows my as the mussels man. Ate 80 on one of our outings. Ill get 100 one day.“

“These guys are the best! I had the pleasure of ordering some food to take to San Marcos, TX for the weekend of my son’s graduation. To say the food was delicious is an understatement. I fed the whole family for the weekend (Brisket, chicken, beans, potato salad. And they provide all the fixings, jalapeños, pickles, bread, BBQ sauce, plastic utensils, plates, all packed neatly in containers.), pleasing the most picky eater, my father! He even wants to order some the next time he’s in Houston, to take back to Louisiana! They definitely have a new customer in me!“

“I’ve been to DDK Kabab & Grill Hostok 5 times. 3 times to go and dine in twice. I recommended their Nihari both with and without the bone marrow. Hands down Houston’s top nihari !! 🙌 asides from the great nihari you need to try their falooda shots! It’s one of the best places to get Falooda. By restaurant standards, it is comparable to an actual falooda sweet shop!! Make sure you end your meal with cool refreshed falooda, especially during this hot crazy summer!!“

“The BBQ is great, but the portion sizes vary at each visit. Some days you’ll have a large serving of fries and enough BBQ sauce and the other days it will be a small handful and one serving of BBQ sauce with their two meat plate. Not sure if it depends on who’s making the order, but the consistency is lacking.“
