Pulled pork was juicy and tender (when I couldn’t make up my mind, owner added a salmon patty with creamed peas just for me), pork ribs were fall off the bone, red neck nachos, butter beans, cabbage … the menu seems to have no end!“

Most of these BBQ places are trash. I went in here and placed a to go order for sausage, brisket, and mac & cheese. Got to my car and the smell was too good. I couldn't even wait to exit the parking lot. So I took two bites of the brisket like any big back would. I then proceeded to close my plate, exit my car, and got back in line. Basically... I'm a regular now.“

“I'm extremely picky when it comes to Bar-B-Q so when I spotted this little spot on the side of the rode well I made it a point to check it out eventually well I was not disappointed best brisket I've had since I left Corpus Christi and the Pulled pork was excellent. “I ordered a brisket sandwich, a link sandwich, and a Texas Twinkie. The food was all delicious. The sandwiches have so much meat that I was able to make myself two sandwiches from each one. Great taste and great portions! I’m a Rudy’s bbq girl but man are they far and lack in flavor compared to J&J’s!

Update: I tried the 7up cake and it is soft, moist, absolutely incredible!! 🤤😍“

But they one thing I dislike about this recent visit was the new big roll of napkins set on the table, they take most of the space on the table and I feel like the hygiene on this is bad , a lot of people touch them and they get dirty I prefer the small napkins,they were more convenient and less messy. Also the roll ones are so rough. Other then that is a very good place to eat 🫶🏻“

“Save your money, this is the worst tasting barbeque I have ever experienced. Two people dinner and drinks 42.00. Their barbeque is tasteless. stick to your locals, they know how to do BBQ right. Never again will I spend a dime in a chain restaurant. To make matters worse, the employees were like robots, cold and unfriendly until you got to the cashier who was delighted to take your money. This review is for the newly established restaurant in Mabank, Tx. They wont last.“

“WooMeeOk has great service! The table is already set with the side dishes (banchan) once you are seated, so if you are ready to order, you may do so. The waitresses were very fast, and visit the table just enough times. For two people, we ordered about 10 meat dishes and no additional sides (e.g., soup and pancake). The portion of the meat is greater than expected, and there are no excessive fat cuts in the galbi. As for price, we believe it to be more than fair. The atmosphere is also very relaxed and they play great music haha.

Side note from partner: The bathroom lighting is very dim.“

The line was long and moved slowly for this visit (roughly 30 minutes to order). It was very, very hot inside. I don't know if they were being stingy with the thermostat or if there was something wrong with the system. I probably won't return to this location unless it's cool outside

No more soulmans for us because Baker's is definently not stingy with there meat . priced better and tastier food . Staff was extremely friendly as well.“
