“Drove thru on 7/10 some time after 11 am. The lady taking my order was thorough and polite. Qualities much lacking at most places today. I pulled up to the window and paid my dues. I told her she was doing a great job and high thanks. Our order was hot, fresh, and accurate. Almost every time I go to a Whataburger something is wrong and there are NEVER napkins. The last few times visiting this location, they have restored my faith in this establishment. Her name was along the lines of La’terry I think, sorry if I got that wrong. The food was soo good. 👍🏻“

The taco entrees were good but a bit pricey.

The quail taco was good and unique. I get that quail can be expensive for the amount of food you get.

I personally wasn’t a fan of the short rib/brussel sprout taco.

My wife’s taco bowl left something to be desired as far as portion and flavor. It was not bad, just not a $15+ plate of food.

“I wanted to tell you about one of your managers at the Live Oak, Texas location. Ms. Arnesia (or Amesia if I spelled it wrong). My family and I live about 20 miles from this location. You don't have many locations where I live, but the food quality to me is worth the drive. However, this time we ordered out of convivence. We ordered food via a food delivery app (DoorDash) and was devastated when we received EMPTY bags at our front door. Over a $100 food order and it was gone. I drove to this location with the bags in hand, and when I asked to speak to the Manger, I met Ms. Arnesia. She explained how I was the 3rd customer that had happened too that day and she had already reported the driver. She helped me to do the same. She was working deliveries and ensured us the orders were included and sealed. She was so sorry it had happened to me and my family. She asked us to not eat any of the remaining items for our safety. She reprocessed the entire order including the drinks and shakes. I'm sure being the third person with that issue that day during her shift, should have allowed for her to at the very least have some aggravation. She never spoke, displayed, or seem to have any negative reaction at all in correcting this situation. When I arrived, I was furious, and I left feeling so care for and appreciated and safe. After meeting Ms. Arnesia, I won't be going anywhere else for my American Burger meals if she is there. She has added to your quality and delicious food with her exceptional customer service. I can't thank her enough for saving our weekend and keeping us in good spirits after all that had happened. People make time to file complaints so easily but fail to praise the people who stand out and go above and beyond. I made time for Ms. Arnesia today. “Main Street Cafe has a menu packed with good choices. The burger and fries are very tasty and delicious. The chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken will be the best you have ever eaten. The Salmon salad oh my what a treat. The pimento cheese sandwich with jalapeños and pecans will make you want to return for a second round. I do not normally eat pork chops. Their pork chops are tender and full of flavor. There are many other options. These are my favorites. Give them a try.“

The bill comes with a cash amount and a credit card amount (higher). However, because of their no cash policy, when you pay with a card (required) they charge you a 3% fee.

Eliminating the ability to pay with cash, and then charging extra to use a card, reeks of likely illegality.“

The lady that rung me up was so sweet and so kind, I think she had piercings on the side of her lips and braids. She was very engaging and personable. We didn’t try anything else, however a definite 4 for the burger.“

“Hands down one of the best mouth watering mushroom burgers with a large serving of fresh cut sweet potato fries I have EVER had. We spent $35 on two combos and it was well worth it honestly. The host/cashier was very friendly and sociable- he took great care of us. The restroom was clean. I'm suprised we didn't have to wait for a seat. Place could use a revamp but the food was so good I didn't care. Really wish we had a Burger Island back home. I reccomend you go check them out!“

“I like coming here with my nephew, the picky eater. They have descent shakes. The drive thru helps if you are not trying to go inside and order. They are pretty quick. I don't think they've ever messed up my order either (knock on wood). I can get my nephew a hot dog, a corn dog or a burger. It's nice to have that option. The buns are covered in poppy seeds, which might cause a false positive on a test. That last tid bit is just from personal experience. P.S
Don't forget to order your tator tots with chilli and cheese.“
