“Really like this place! I was so glad when it opened. We've been needing/wanting more options here in Sunnyvale. The food was really good and so was the service. Of course, we have our favorite Mexican food places, but Dos Charros will definitely be in our rotation. Might even make its way to the top of the list.“

“This place has amazing pho!!! I went in planning to get a boil bag but when I saw that had pho, I had to get that. I got the one with steak and the flavor was really multi-dimensioned. The milk tea boba I got was on point as well. Prices were good, especially since both the pho and boba were generous sizes. So good and I'm so happy to find a pho place close to me!“

“Went to get gas at Tom Thumb because it’s cheapest in town and stopped in for some catfish. Astonishingly good, catfish smelled and tasted fresh, seasoned batter had nice flavor and was crispy with juicy and tender fish inside. Prices were low like food used to be before COVID inflation, and staff is so nice! Hope they add grilled catfish to the menu. 5/5 stars, I will definitely be returning!“

“When we first got there they wouldn't see us there was an empty table right in front of us latest wait for 10 minutes to set us at that empty table I said it looked at the whole time we was waiting three people in and set them at a table are both I did not see while we were waiting for the table that was empty in front of us.then when my daughter ordered something it was her birthday but we didn't tell him that and they told her they wouldn't give her the alligator with whatever else she ordered and then she told them that she always got it that way! to tell them three times before they finally accepted the fact that she had had it that way before. My grandson age 11 had the Simon plate my granddaughter had shrimp and fries, I had the chicken fried steak potatoes and greens my son-in-law had the catfish plate and I believe my daughter had dirty rice with the gator. The food was good it was just a bad atmosphere the way everything started off the waiter was awesome it is best to do his best.“

“I have purchased food here quite a few times and am never disappointed. I ordered the Spaghetti the Works and a house salad with house dressing. I couldn't eat it all and am having one of the rolls and remaining Spaghetti the Works for lunch. Last night this was so good and today it is even better. When I want really, really good Italian, Gianni's is where I go. They also provide great customer service.“

I was pleasantly surprised with the menu selection, quality of food and the amount of people that were there on a Friday night, around 8:00 p.m., to eat dinner.The food actually exceeded my expectations, only one star off for service. They were busy at the time, especially 8:00 p.m. in the evening, so it was hard to assign four stars instead of five, but it did take a little long to get just a couple of dinner salads.Lastly, although the atmosphere was extremely lively, and the decor was appropriate for the restaurant, the music playing in the background was reminiscent of being in a taqueria somewhere in the barrio. Cumbia music being played at max volume (at an appropriate, authentic Mexican eating establishment) is cool at a place where you expect to hear that genre of music, but I was surprised to walk into a business that "forced" it's consumers to immerse themselves into that specific 'cultural' atmosphere at a seafood restaurant. I was good with it, however that may not be everyone's jam.Overall, four stars and the good experience. I think they just need to throttle the volume of their background music back a little bit, so people can actually talk without having to raise their voices.“

For instance, we arrived and purchased drinks (bottle drinks only), 1 transaction. We then decided to get edomame, another transaction. We ordered our sushi, another transaction. “We stopped by for lunch with our granddaughter during the week and had a super satisfying lunch. So much, we decided to order it for a birthday dinner, to go, the following weekend. We all shared each others meals and everything was superb. The kids meals have to be some of the best tasting kids meals we’ve ever had. We recommend the macaroni and cheese or grilled cheese. The boiled seafood was excellent! Crab cakes were crisp on the outside and super soft in the middle, perfect. Fried gator was tender and delicious. The gumbo was really tasty! I have never been to a restaurant that had such good quality food! I had the seafood sampler with catfish,fries, hush puppies and fried shrimp. Everything was so good. The catfish just melted in my mouth. Some restaurants "Claim" what they have is catfish but people can tell the difference. My husband had oysters in a half shell and crawfish. Oh and I almost forgot the appetizer I had,fried mushrooms. Omg, everything was great and well worth the money. It was my Valentine's day present and I loved it. We were already talking about going back again one day on the way home. The fish was fried nice and crisp, some the fries were a little too crisp, and in not really sure the nuggets were catfish, but I could be wrong. They are priced around $5-$6 per taco but the double tortilla and fillings could easily be turned into two tacos.They also have a live banda.Signature cocktails: beautiful cocktails and equally tasty. mixers and liquors taste fresh and are priced as such (approx. $16 per drink) BUT they have dry ice inside each drink which is pretty but also dangerous if swallowed.Cons: The live banda was sooooo loud that I couldn’t hear the person next to me even though they were screaming into my ear. They also told me they don’t do ice water when I ordered it along with my cocktails - they only offer bottled water which seemed to be complimentary as they were holding them up and asking our party if anyone wanted one, only to find that $2.50 water bottles were added to our tab.Plan to spend a pretty penny when you come here.“

Thanks to the other reviews we expected to have a great experience and we did. I ordered the calzone, my partner ordered the shrimp scampi and we ordered a slice of pizza to share. Both dishes were YUMMY and a great portion size. The pizza was delicious, a large slice and we will definitely try a whole pie in the near future. “Valentines week, so it was packed and we got takeout for our hotel. Service and timing were perfect, regardless of the fact that they were slammed. The best filet mignon that I've ever had. Green beans were done perfectly. Definitely going back and can recommend as a steak house to try.“

Hot, buttery and garlicky these delicious creations alone were worth the trip. Hands down they are the best garlic knots I have ever tasted. I also ordered the Shrimp creamora which was very good, with a delicate creamy sauce and perfectly cooked shrimp. The side of sausages were okay, but somewhat bland and lacked the seasoning I’d expect in an Italian style sausage. I paid extra for a side salad and was disappointed to find that it was only made of head lettuce, a couple of spinach and an underripe wedge of tomato. So, a little hit or miss… Based upon the Garland knots, I would believe their calzones, or pizza would be worth a try.“
