“My wife and I eat breakfast almost every weekend after our morning workout. It’s a little bit of “our time” on the weekend and the staff and food has always been great. But a few weeks ago they were busy and although the meal was good the service was a little lacking and upon checkout our server’s assistant was short and seemed irritated. We were surprised and as we left were talking about it and hostess overheard and we saw her go back and immediately say something to our server. We chalked it up to being short staffed and busy. Came back the next week and everything was great. Came again today and everything was great AND our server from the bad day waited on us and was great. Here’s the part that impressed me, as we were checking out she stopped and apologized for the service from a couple weeks before, didn’t make excuses, said she’d addressed the issue with her assistant and thanked us for coming back. Apologizing is a lost art, and we appreciated it so much that not only did she not get defensive she remembered the situation, it had clearly been on her mind since that day and she wanted to make it right. That tells me Barney’s is here for the long haul and has leadership that is inspiring the employees. Great job Barney’s! We will continue to our weekend breakfast dates for a long long time.“

“My husband and I enjoy visiting The Baked Bear for a post activity treat! Our first visit, we made ice cream sandwiches with toppings and found that, that was a little too much for us. The next visit, without toppings and different choices was great! I had the bear bowl which was a warmed cookie bottom and the ice cream of my choice on top. This is the perfect combination for me. The staff is happy to give samples of the ice cream flavors available to be sure you enjoy what you order! The place was very tidy and neat each time we have visited.

We did park in the lot across the way from PF Changs and walked passed it to get to the Baked Bear.“

“The meager outside really doesn't do this place justice! I was greeted by a wonderful back-lit murale that made me feel like I was back in Japan all over again.

The food is excellent, we had a wonton egg drop soup, and it was delicious! My main course was the garlic sauce shrimps and they gave me my money's worth, a wide variety of vegetable and flavor in each bite!

“Visiting Dallas from a land without Bread Zeppelin so thought we would give it a try. Showed up with 8 people and the team greeted us warmly and explained the concept. Amazing salads on their own or as a “zeppelin”, salad inside a delicious crispy bread roll. I had the Pink Lady and when I was asked by the team how I wanted it, I entrusted them to guide me, which they happily did. The end result was so perfectly good! I will visit again as soon as possible. The manager Mario and his team are excellent, deliver fast, friendly service, and would be happy to serve you as well! “Stopped to order take out went to pay and my order was ready when i got back to pick up. He was cutting up the meat so I know it was fresh, potatoe was huge, the right amount of sour cream chives and the brisket was soooo good. Food wasn't stopped together, was perfect. “Great food and drinks, many choices, always harder to have great svc with a large group vs serving 2 to 5 people. Atmosphere was a regular restaurant - TV screens, but no special view or romantic or something that makes it more than average, and not looking for something special. I guess I should just leave it with no stars - don't know what I am supposed to do with thar category.“
