“We had Uncle Bob’s Barbecue cater our daughter’s wedding at The Weinberg in Bryan Texas and the food and service was amazing! Uncle Bob’s barbecue offers different types of food for weddings but we chose the brisket, chicken, sausage with the mashed potatoes , green beans and macaroni for the kids. Everyone called it fancy barbecue for a wedding. People are still talking about how great the food was. My daughter and son-law didn’t get a chance to eat and they packed them food to go. My daughter said the food was still good even after reheating it. And she’s not one to eat leftovers.
Before I found out about Uncle Bob’s, one month before the wedding, I received 4 quotes and every quote had hidden fees and ridiculous charges. When I received the quote from Uncle Bob’s it was a relief to see a quote that explained every charge in detail. Terri was always available to answer all our questions in a timely manner. And the team was outstanding at the wedding! I wish I would have known about Uncle Bob’s from the beginning because it would have saved me a lot of stress. Thank you for making our night special!“

“Rudy's is probably the best deal you can get for good barbecue anywhere. They may not be winning Michelin stars, but they win hearts on the daily. The moist brisket, sausage, and ribs are always winners, and they have excellent sides. The line is often out the door and for good reason.

Last time around I also tried the prime rib. It's good, but get it thin cut. The plastic knives they offer at the restaurant make this a little hard to eat (maybe bring your own knife?).“

Doesn't have a lot of the wider choices in other BBQ spots but if you are looking for a quick bite at a good price this is a great spot. They have weekly deals and also do Bingo every Thursday. Has a decent amount of indoor seating and some outside under the HEB rooftop as well.“

“True Texas BBQ was one of the best BBQs I’ve had. We ordered brisket chili and a brisket baked potato and both were so scrumptious. All BBQ is not the same! Even the signage was really cool at the restaurant and the chairs were actually comfortable :) I’m big on nice seating! Ordering was genuinely pleasant with a Iyairra (Ya) and she was all smiles. Ian came to our table to make sure we were enjoying our visit and told us about the new store opening in Bridgeland - sounds fabulous just like we like it. “Driving back to H-town, we stopped at Deacon Baldy’s to check out the BBQ truck we heard about. Boy am I glad we did. It was amazing. We tried the brisket, burnt ends and turkey. It’s hard to believe the turkey could be better than the burnt ends but I believe it was. I can’t believe how moist they were. Also great was the Mac and Cheese and even the iced tea. I’ll be back. I’ve got my eyes on the ribs next. Well done BBQ Godfather.“

“Had a great friday night dinner at Iza! Came into a restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere and was seated promptly. Ordered a couple beers, takoyaki, and two different ramen: shouyu and creamy tonkatsu. Beers were served in a well frosted mug, takoyaki had plentiful sauce and bonito flake, and most importantly the ramen had plenty of meat and toppings. Loved the addition of meat skewers! Service was quick and thoughtful. Food portions were large, and flavor was great. Looking forward to coming back again.“

So we came to this location 2 days later for dinner and everything was exactly the same. The waiter delivered great service and the GM stopped by our table and was actively engaging with customers. “i, have been here about three times i like there chicken fried steak for some reason the gravy and steak taste like flour had to wipe the gravy off and eat catchup on it still taste like flour.something went wrong i love there chicken fried steak and food i going to come back try again soon if it taste like that again not coming back sorry. see if ya can find the problem tast your food before you serve it. thank you“

“First time visit, we ordered large white queso which was pretty good and 2 margaritas, my wife said her was ok, I ordered the Mango Nana Rita, I think that's the name, it was pretty good also, the friut that was in it kept clogging my straw but I survived. We ordered the combo beef and chicken fajitas for 2, and it comes with all the fixings in a bowl, gauc,pico,sour cream, queso fresco and I ordered charro beans. The beef is like butter, very tender, I think it needs a bit more seasoning or char on it, but it was cooked to a perfect med rare, the wife also like the chicken, was a little dry for me. The place wasn't that busy when we were there, so the flour tortillas that they server may have been sitting around, they seemed to be made in house but were a bit old and crispy and burrito size not taco size. We were also interested in the brisket taco on the menu, so we ordered 1 to try, just meat and tortilla, I was very happy with the moist end brisket and flavor, the tortilla was very good, not sure if it's in house made but way better than the one surved with the fajitas. No room for dessert.“
