“We found this place on Google and it was close to our hotel. We all loved it. Everything is made on site or grown locally. My hubby loves "meat porn" so this was his place. When you first walk in, they have their homemade meats hanging in a meat locker. I thought he was going to lose his mind! Pizza and dessert was beyond fantastic! It all is fresh AF. No joke. Even beer and wine is locally sourced. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE WHEN IN SAN ANTONIO.“

“I found Maria's Cafe via Google Search and I'm a sucker for family owned hole-in-the-wall places that serve authentic no frills cuisine. Maria's does not disappoint. You will find tacos of every kind, including familiar ones and many others that I haven't seen in other places. I tried the Taco Mando Loco #1 on a corn tortilla which was served piping hot with a chilli sauce/salsa on the table. Word of caution for those who aren't accustomed to higher spice levels, this one has a kick to it, and that's a good thing.
For the 2nd order I was curious to know what they have for veggie tacos. When I asked, I was promptly handed a green sheet with a handwritten menu with over 20 different veggie tacos! I ordered Jeff's Vegan and it was awesome.
The location is about 2 miles from the city center so it's a short cab ride away but it's worth the trip. You'll get home made food that won't burn a hole in your wallet.

“I think we found our new to go place for lunch specials and other dishes. I had been craving Enchiladas Verdes for a while looked up places online and decided on Blue Moon. I'm glad we did. Wife ordered a Puffy Taco that thing was loaded! Home made Corn Tortillas, good picoso Chiles, food was hot from start to finish just the way it should be. Will be going back to try their Menudo as well as a lot more menu items. Their menu is quite impressive, and very reasonably priced. The servers and staff they have are outstanding, nice and attentive. Cudos to management on this little gem on the South Side.“

“Stopped in for lunch as it was close to a baseball tournament! My son loved the chicken fettuccine. We were pleased with the battered mozzarella sticks, and fried pizza rolls. The Italian Sub was also amazing, as it was warmed before they added the toppings! My husband felt like the Chicken Parmesan Sub was a little bland. We also got some of their delicious house ranch to dip the battered fries into!

“I recently visited Tony's Tacos To Go #3 and had a fantastic experience. The breakfast tacos are not only delicious but also incredibly filling and affordable, making them a perfect start to the day. I also tried the huevos rancheros plate, and it was out of this world—flavorful and satisfying!
