“We found this place on Google and it was close to our hotel. We all loved it. Everything is made on site or grown locally. My hubby loves "meat porn" so this was his place. When you first walk in, they have their homemade meats hanging in a meat locker. I thought he was going to lose his mind! Pizza and dessert was beyond fantastic! It all is fresh AF. No joke. Even beer and wine is locally sourced. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE WHEN IN SAN ANTONIO.“

“We came all the way from Leon Valley to try Maria’s Cafe, and it was absolutely worth the drive! This little hole-in-the-wall spot has such a homey, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. It was our first time eating here, and we were so impressed.
They made our food exactly the way we wanted it, paying attention to every detail and making sure everything was just right. You can really tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they serve.
We’ll definitely be coming back for more. If you’re looking for a cozy place with great food and friendly service, Maria’s Cafe is a must-try!“

“If you’re looking for amazing carne guisada enchiladas, this is the spot. The meat was seasoned just right and so tender it practically melted in my mouth. “My grandparents owned several businesses in the area and as a child we would go there for lunch. I visited the restaurant last Wednesday for the first time in over 60 years. The food and service were excellent and authentic. I visited with several staff members to share my story and found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend visitors to San Antonio to eat at the Blue Moon.“

“Food is good, service are great, I normally bring my employees to get breakfast before go out the field to work, Last Monday we witness witch I believe is the manager, go off on the server, because he said instead been attentive to customers she should be cleaning, witch all of us disagree with that, for my experience., normally waitress get pay to attend customer, and on their down time clean and organize around, Also he should wait to not be any customers or bring the employee to office or said something on private, looks like he want to show he’s power been a manager or owner ( don’t know) Now my employees don’t want to come back there anymore.....“

“They had the most sweetest cashier. We ordered carne guisada, barbacoa and asada. EVERYTHING WAS ON POINT!! There are two types of guisadas. The Red and the Brown.
